Taliban Govt Orders Workers on No Beard, No Work law in their Country

Taliban Govt Orders Workers on No Beard, No Work law in their Country

Afghanistan’s ruling Taliban has directed all government employees to wear a beard and adhere to a dress code or risk being fired.

This was the latest of several new restrictions imposed by the hard-line Islamist administration.

It was gathered that representatives from the Ministry for the Propagation of Virtue and Prevention of Vice were patrolling the entrances to government offices on Monday to check that employees were in compliance with the new rules.

Following this new fiat, it would become illegal for employees to shave their beards, or wear local clothing consisting of a long, loose top and trousers, and a hat or turban.

The sources, moreover, claimed workers were told to ensure they prayed at the correct times, in strict observance of the Islamic tenets.

They were also told they would from now on be unable to enter offices and would eventually be fired if they did not comply with the mandatory dress code.

A spokesman for the public morality ministry did not respond to a request for comment.

Earlier, the Taliban had banned women from taking flights without a male chaperone and failed to open girls’ schools as promised.

On Sunday, it ordered parks to be segregated by sex, with women allowed to enter three days a week and men the other four days, including the weekend, meaning even married couples and families cannot visit together.

The Taliban administration has drawn criticism at home and from Western governments for forcing its extreme interpretation of Islamic law on all Afghans.

The Taliban said they would respect everyone’s rights in line with Islamic law and Afghan customs and that they have changed since their 1996-2001 rules when they barred women from leaving the house without a male relative and forced men to grow beards.

Wednesday’s u-turn on girls’ schools led to protests from the international community, including the United States, which pulled out of planned meetings with Taliban officials in Qatar, to discuss key economic issues.

Edo River lnsecurity: You Can't Escape Justice, Ezekiel tell Okubor, Derimo, others

Edo River lnsecurity: You Can't Escape Justice, Ezekiel tell Okubor, Derimo, others

...... Says the waterways security team is not deterred by the cries of criminal elements

.....Insists more kidnappers’ dens will be destroyed

Following the controversies surrounding the alleged invasion of suspected militants’ camp around Inikorogha community in Ovia South-West Local Government Area of Edo state by members of the Waterways and Surveillance security committee led by Gen. Godstime Ogidigba, SSA to Edo State governor, a rights activist Comrade Daniel Ezekiel has said that those ranting and weeping like bereaved persons for the recent destruction of alleged kidnappers den around Inikorogha community in Ovia South-West Local Government Area of Edo State are accomplices of Okubor criminal deeds, adding that they are looking for public sympathy to cover their criminal activities.

This was contained in a press statement signed by himself which was sent to Congress newspaper on Tuesday. Comrade Ezekiel stated that more kidnappers dens of Okubor and his criminal gang would be destroyed in the riverine communities in the coming days.

•The waterways security team is not deterred by the cries of criminal elements

The rights advocate insisted that they(The security team) were not deterred by the cries of criminal elements in the Inikorogha community.

The statement reads: “I laughed when watching the kangaroo protest of some people and rant of one Derimo, all masterminded by their paymaster, Okubor. Well, you cannot beat a baby and expect him not to cry.

There is freedom of expression, after all, this is what democracy is all about, but it will not stop Hon. Godstime Ogidigba, second in command of waterways and surveillance from carrying out the mandate of the Edo state government, which is to sanitize the riverine area of criminal elements.
Before going further, let me give some timeline of criminal and oppressive activities of Okubor, Derimo and co in recent years”.

According to Ezekiel, “first, 12/11/2013, Ernest Ibinebi brutally murdered by Okubor at Inikorogha community and went away with his corpse which nobody has seen it up to this moment.

“Secondly, on 13/08/2019, Avaro was beaten by Okubo till he permanently lost one of his eyes.

“Thirdly, on 20/03/2020, China and their wife were chased out of the Inikorogha community by Okubo.

“Fourthly, on 10/12/2020, China Samuel brutally shot on his left leg at Inikorogha community because he refused to do Okubo’s bidding. Up to this moment, the boy has not been able to walk.

“Fifthly, 22/06/2021, Okubo directed Derimo to mobilise Gelegele women to sabotage Taskforce set up by Governor Godwin Obaseki to retrieve illegal logs hidden in the creek. When this failed, he (Okubo) and others stormed Inikorogha, destroyed Favour Oma Arigba’s house, chased him and his family out of the Inikorogha community because he worked with the Taskforce. On the same night of 22/06/2021, Derimo acting on the instruction of his terrorist leader, went to the marine jetty at Gelegele to scatter the seized woods.

“Six, on the 31/07/2021, the Amakosuwei, Pa Joseph Megbuwei, (oldest and custodian of Inikorogha culture according to Ijaw tradition, physically put in place executive committee to run the affairs of the community, few hours  after this was done , Okubo ,Derimo and their criminal gang beat up everybody that how dare should they do such thing . Out of fear for his life , Amakosuwei fled to Benin City where he is as at this moment .
13 of last month , Ebi Gbale after the burial of his grand mother, madam Victoria Potoki went to Inikorogha ,on his arrival Okubo and his terrorist group numbering 40 ambush the young man ,made him to sit on the floor , snapped him and threatened to kill him if he ever see him in the community again. The matter has been reported at zone 5 police command.

You are aware that His Execllency, Governor Godwin Obaseki visited Inikorogha community, 04/03/2022,  based on persistent petitions of my self and Godstime on various criminal acts in that axis. While there, His Execllency ordered, which was widely carried by media , that vigilante activities be disbanded.
To prove to Governor Godwin Obaseki that he, Okubo is in charge , told his boys to ignored number citizen of the state directive and carry on with their lawlessness.
Godstime being  SSA on Waterways and surveillance, and who is also from the area decided to go on patrol, only  for Okubo , Derimo , seniorman e.t.c  to blocked the road with heavy timbers and ferociously opened fire on Godstime and his boys. At least you have seen the video , did you see Godstime with arms ,rather you can see in the video the boys marching towards the criminals who are  running away.
I heard Derimo crying like baby that lost his candy that some so call leaders should intervene, leaders my foot.
Where were these people when the above outlined altrocities were going on ?

Pepe ,Okubo younger brother that destroyed Shina  leg with pump action, 10/12/2020  is a chief in Olodiama,  what disciplinary action did the clan or council of chiefs take against him ?, NONE, rather is now BUNCH of  hypocrites are seeing oppression.
Godstime stand for justice !
Godstime stand against lawlessness and criminality !
Godstime stand for freedom and liberation of Ijaws of Inikorogha and other communities in the riverine area, this he shall do without caring whose ox is gored.

Signed,
Comrade Ezekiel Daniel,.
Niger Delta activist.

Delta 2023: Gov. Okowa Secretly Buys Form For Agas to Push Out Sheriff

Delta 2023: Gov. Okowa Secretly Buys Form For Agas to Push Out Sheriff

 Source-Secret Reporters

Sheriff Oborowheri may be kissing his gubernatorial ambition goodbye as information gathered from insiders within Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s kitchen cabinet is likely to be dropped in a frantic last minute bargain by the sole political godfather of Delta State politics, Chief James Onanefe Ibori.

SecretReporters exclusively gathered that the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Iyorcha Ayu told Okowa pointblank to go and make peace with Ibori if his choice candidate in Sheriff must fly, an advise which Okowa is considering.

This advise we gathered led to Okowa telling his Chief of Staff, Festus Agas, to resign his appointment and gave him money to secretly buy the gubernatorial form in order to beat the expiry date. The move by Okowa is to present Agas to Ibori as their consensus candidate, considering the fact that Agas was a member of the Ibori political family in 1999 before his utmost diehard loyalty to Okowa, which Ibori can never get from him.

With this Maradona move, Sheriff will have to be dumped for Agas to fly, if Ibori cave in to Okowa’s political chess play that will still see him controlling the political future of Delta State if his new godson Agas flies the ticket.

SecretReporters gathered that the erstwhile Chief of Staff has been the choice candidate of the First Lady, Dame Edith Okowa, who shares an excellent relationship with Agas’s wife, Mrs. Kevwe. She has always told the husband of her desire to hand over the First Lady title to her friend, stated various sources to SecretReporters.

Findings by SecretReporters revealed that Ibori has sworn to ride or die with David Edevbie who he believes has the capacity to lead Delta into the vision he has in 1999. “It is Edevbie or no one else. Ibori loves Delta State and believes that only Edevbie or Ovie Omo-Agege has what it takes to truly navigate the political and economic future of Delta State. You know Agege is still loyal to Ibori despite being in APC. And Oga is ready to work for Agege and deliver him as the next governor if Okowa insists on forcing his candidates on him” , stated a source in Ibori’s camp.

This online newspaper further gathered that Agas has been lying about the reason for his resignation citing the need for resignation as stated by the new electoral law. Agas as former Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly is a statutory delegate and is not required to resign by the law.

Removal of Sole Administrator in NDDC, Mulade hails Court Judgement

Removal of Sole Administrator in NDDC, Mulade hails Court Judgement

Yenagoa___ A Niger Delta born environmentalist and peace advocate, Chief Mulade Sheriff on Monday March 28, 2022, in Asaba, the Delta State Capital applauded the decision of the Federal High Court, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State on the removal of a sole administrator of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC; stopping the Commission from being placed under any Ministry, including the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, and to constitute the Board of NDDC to run the affairs of the Commission in line with enabling laws and the instrument establishing the Commission.

Chief Sheriff, the Ibe-Sorimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, hailed the Court decision and said a sole administrator running the affairs of NNDC was alien and a contravention of the enabling laws establishing the Commission. He noted that the Act establishing NNDC only recognizes an Interim Management Board or Committee, and not a sole administrator.

Speaking on the current operations of the sole administrator, headed and controlled by Mr.  Effiong Akwa, Chief Mulade alleged that the sole administrator's office has been used by some government officials as an ATM to siphon funds for personal use rather than investing in and developing the region, in line with the primary aim of creating the NDDC. He maintained that despite the billions of Naira  allocated to the NDDC over the years for development purposes, the region still lacks basic amenities such as good road networks, health centers, clean and drinkable water, electricity supply, schools, connecting bridges and other infrastructure.

While expressing his bitterness over alleged mismanagement of the Commission’s funds, he  claimed that those funds were in the custody of a few individual politicians and their cronies who never meant well for the region.

He recalled that the Federal High Court in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State had on Tuesday March 22, 2022, directed the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice to stop placing the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) under any Ministry, including the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs. The Court also granted a perpetual injunction restraining the AGF from further constituting an interim or a sole administrator-ship Board to run the affairs of the NDDC.

The orders were made following a motion exparte dated December 10th, 2021, and filed by Odighonin Adienbo on behalf of the Wailing Women of the Niger Delta (WWND) and the Integrity Friends for Truth and Peace Initiative (IFTPI).

Other applicants were Peace Ossy, Utibe Benedict, Beatrice Young, Juliana Alagoa, Lovett Timothy, Loveth Kekghe, Osaruchi Idumesaro, Modimu Beauty and Nkechi Umeozor.

In its judgment the Court said that "leave is hereby granted to the applicant to seek an order of this Honourable Court directing the respondent to dissolve the current sole administrator-ship structure used to run the affairs of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC)," and that the applicants were granted leave to seek an order of mandamus directing or compelling the respondent to immediately publish the outcome of the report of the forensic audit of the NDDC.

The Court also said that leave was granted to the applicant to seek an order of mandamus directing and compelling the respondent to account for all monies that have accrued to the NDDC from the inception of the Interim or acting management, beginning from. Prof. Nelson Brambaifa till date.

In conclusion, the Judge asked the parties to return to the Court on April 5 for report of service, compliance and hearing.

I strongly believe in President Muhammadu Buhari as one of the most citizen-oriented, listening and law abiding President of Nigeria, which he displayed recently during the citizens' yearning for electoral reforms, just being signed into law.

While thanking the Judge for his landmark ruling, Chef Mulade urged all meaningful Nigerians, especially those from the Niger Delta Region to support the Court's decision and work for the growth and development of the Niger Delta States.

Milland Dikkio, the lnterim Administrator (PAP) and the Head of Reintegration Officer (HRO), Mr. Alfred Kemepado responsible for any breach of peace in the Niger Delta region on alleged corrupt fraudulent act and sharp practices over non payment of fifteen of his boys five months stipend from last year October 2021 to February 2022.

In given more insight about the problem, Gen. Dimaro said the whole issue started in the early part of last year 2021 when Ecobank Plc, the former bank he was operating with his boys closed their accounts due to BVN as well as other documents required from them by the bank in which they could not earlier provide for the bank at that time due to short time notice.

He stressed that as result of that, he decided to change bank from Ecobank to FCMB Plc, which the former bank agreed and wrote an official letter for them in that effect and submitted at the amnesty office on 17th August, 2021, in which the amnesty office acknowledge it and approved.

According to him said: " After changing the fifteen ex-agitators account details, the amnesty office paid two months that is August and September 2021 in their new FCMB account details through a mobile transfer with the following account details, Cr Amt:NGN131,500.00

Since thereafter that illegal mobile transfer payment, they deliberately withheld my boys monthly stipends from October 2021 to February 2022, making up to five months without given any cogent reason."

" I have made frantic efforts to see with Col. Milland Dixon in order to Complain my plight to him but l was deprived in the office from seeing him. Meanwhile, l was able to met with the Head of Reintegration Officer (HRO), Hon. Alfred Kemepade, on several occasions in regards to the issue, he assured me of handling the matter immediately but up till now, nothing has been done.

l have been going to the office in Abuja from Delta State almost every month waisting my scarce resources just to inquire why they refused to pay the five months salary of my boys but what they told me was that the account office wrongly paid the money to project account and that they will rectify it within a month so as to pay my fifteen affected beneficiaries but to no avail.

As am talking to you now, they have not even uploaded my boys new FCMB account details in the given platform, which is the amnesty payroll system. I am convinced that they have sit upon the five months salary of my boys or shared it  amongst themselves that is why they refused to upload our new account details in the amnesty payroll. I am using this medium to called on EFCC and ICPC to investigate the matter in order to bring to book those that have embezzled our five months stipends", he stated.

However, Gen. Dimaro called on President Muhammad Buhari, NSA, Senate President Armed Lawan, Speaker House of Reps, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Defense Staff, Chief of Air Staff, Chief of Naval Staff, DSS Director General and the Inspector General of Police to hold Col. Dixon Milland and Alfred Kemepado responsible for any breach of peace in the Niger Delta as result of any further delay of payment of the five months outstanding stipends they are owing the ex-agitators , the statement added.
