Rivers State will Boil if Gov. Fubara Impeached, Asari Dokubo tells President Bola Tinubu

Rivers State will Boil if Gov. Fubara Impeached, Asari Dokubo tells President Bola Tinubu

Former Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo, has claimed that President Bola Tinubu is supporting former Rivers state governor and minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike, to destabilise the state.

Recall that Wike and Fubara have been at loggerheads since the latter assumed office as governor in 2023, just as Fubara had said that his rift with Wike is tied to a tussle over power and control in Rivers State.
Speaking during an appearance on Arise TV on Tuesday, Dokubo expressed his disappointment at the ongoing crisis in the state, adding that ‘something will happen’ if the governor is impeached.

His words: “What I’m trying to say is that with Bola Tinubu becoming president, I should be able to tell him the truth. What is happening in Rivers State where Bola Tinubu is supporting Nyesom Wike to destabilise Rivers State and disturb the peace of Rivers State, and as a stakeholder in Rivers State, I feel totally disappointed for the president to allow his minister serving under him to run amok and porcure judgement and all sort, threatening the people of Rivers State.

“What they are trying to do is that we’re going to remove Fubara, and nothing will happen. What I’m saying is that if you try to remove Fubara, something will happen. That is what I’m talking about. I’m not talking of any personal benefit; I can’t be appointed minister or to any board; I didn’t lobby for anything.”
When asked, Dokubo stated that he still stands by his words that he should be held responsible if President Tinubu fails to deliver.

“I still stand by that statement. That is why I’m crying out, because I’m vigorously liable for any expectation of the Nigerian people, not just Niger Delta people. This is because I stood in front of everybody, and I’m not going to deny what I said.

“Even if it’s tomorrow and Ahmed Bola Tinubu encounters any difficulty, I’ll still stick out my neck and stand. At the stand he stood for me, I would have been dead and not be in this programme talking. Obasanjo would have killed me if not for people like Tinubu who stood by me. So, I’m not going to be in a hurry to forget that.”

Dr. Tidi Calls for Unity to Support Otuaro's Commitment to Regional Stability and Development in the N'Delta

Dr. Tidi Calls for Unity to Support Otuaro's Commitment to Regional Stability and Development in the N'Delta

In the words of Ken Saro-Wiwa, “The struggle for our rights is the struggle for our humanity.” This profound insight resonates deeply with the current situation surrounding Dr. Dennis Otuaro, who faces unwarranted calls for his removal as Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP). These demands overlook the substantial contributions Otuaro has made toward promoting peace, stability, and development in the Niger Delta. It is essential to defend his leadership and encourage President Tinubu to dismiss these baseless calls.

Otuaro’s dedication to the Niger Delta is unwavering. His focus on fostering collaboration with key stakeholders demonstrates his commitment to regional inclusivity and stability. Under his leadership, the PAP has made significant strides in overcoming challenges and advancing its goals.

As the first core Deltan—one who actively participated in the region’s struggle for rights—to hold this esteemed position, Otuaro’s leadership reflects not only the capability of the Niger Delta people but also a beacon of hope for the region’s future. His achievements speak to the importance of continued progress under his stewardship. For the first time since Otuaro took over, groups such as the Itsekiri, Urhobo—where the writer hail from—Isoko, and Kwale are experiencing a newfound sense of belonging, alongside the Ijaw community.
Otuaro’s administration has been instrumental in restoring peace to the Niger Delta. Through proactive engagement with traditional rulers, state governors, youth organizations, and former leaders of the region’s struggle, he has fostered a spirit of dialogue and collaboration among diverse groups. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, violent incidents in the Niger Delta have decreased by approximately 40% since Otuaro took office, leading to an improved quality of life for residents and a more stable environment conducive to investment and development.

One of the most tangible outcomes of Otuaro’s efforts is the increase in oil production, a critical element of Nigeria’s economy. Under his leadership, oil output has risen from 1.5 million to 1.7 million barrels per day, a 13% increase. This boost has significantly contributed to government revenue, with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) reporting an additional $3.5 billion in revenue attributed to this increase, supporting vital national development initiatives.

Otuaro has also prioritized resolving critical issues such as the backlog of stipends for amnesty students, both in Nigeria and abroad. In the last quarter alone, over 2,000 stipends were disbursed, allowing students to focus on their education without financial worry. A report by the PAP indicated that 85% of beneficiaries were able to complete their courses successfully, showcasing Otuaro’s commitment to fostering long-term stability in the Niger Delta through education.
Calls for Otuaro’s removal are often driven by political maneuvering or personal grievances rather than an objective evaluation of his performance. Such actions threaten the progress achieved under his leadership and risk destabilizing the system. It is vital to reject these baseless demands and continue supporting his administration’s efforts.

Isaac Adaka Boro once stated, “The struggle for our rights is not just a fight for the land, but for the dignity of our people and the preservation of our culture. Together, we can forge a path toward justice and equality.” This statement embodies the essence of unity in our pursuit of development and rights for the Niger Delta. Dr. Dennis Otuaro’s recent visit to former President Goodluck Jonathan underscores his commitment to fulfilling the PAP’s mandate. By consulting with key stakeholders like Jonathan, Otuaro is building on the original vision of the amnesty program, further promoting regional stability and development in the Niger Delta.

In light of these accomplishments, it is crucial that President Tinubu continues to support Otuaro’s leadership. His dedication to regional development and stability has yielded tangible results, and his inclusive approach promises continued progress for the Niger Delta. As prominent figures such as AnnKio Briggs and Ibiba Don-Pedro rally behind him, it is clear that the future of the region is brighter under Otuaro’s stewardship.

Now more than ever, we must stand united in support of Dr. Dennis Otuaro’s vision for a more inclusive and prosperous Niger Delta. Together, we can ensure the region’s stability and foster peace and economic growth for all.

Dr. Tidi, Former Chairman, Warri South Council (2018 - 2024), writes from Warri.

How Southern Politicians Exchange Region's Development for a Plate of Porridge to the North_Ahmed Sanni Yerima(Former Governor, Zamfara State)

How Southern Politicians Exchange Region's Development for a Plate of Porridge to the North_Ahmed Sanni Yerima(Former Governor, Zamfara State)

You must understand something, all Southern politicians are driven by untold degree of selfishness. While in office, they are all aspiring for the next office. The strategy to get on the ladder is to sacrifice their people, their towns and villages and their region. They do everything possible to please the Hausa Fulani Northerners in order to be favoured. We can go back a little to pull out some examples.

(1). Governor Peter Odili wanted to run for presidency, he squandered River State money on Northern Emirs and Northern Opinion leaders. At the end, he failed.

(2). General Olusegun Obasanjo held up all development programmes in the South and promoted infrastructure development in the North in order to get the 3rd term agenda through. At the end, he failed.

(3). James Ibori wanted to be a Vice President to President Yar’dua, in place of Jonathan. Delta State Liaison office in Abuja, became an ATM for all the Northern PDP members. At the end, not only did he fail, he was sent to prison.

(4). Jonathan Goodluck postponed South South development to his anticipated second tenure and put in all resources to the rehabilitation of the Almajiris, Emirs Palace from Sokoto to Maiduguri. Built Abuja-Kaduna Rail line when Lagos-Ibadan Expressway was impassable, East-West Road was a mere historical concept; built and completed Federal Universities in Katsina, Jigawa, etc but did foundation ground breaking for the the Federal University in Bayelsa. At the end, he was sent out of the Villa by the Northern INEC Chairman he appointed.

(5). Under Jonathan, the then Minister for Aviation, Stella Odua, funded in full, the rehabilitation and upgrading of the Kano, Sokoto, Katsina Airports but Port Harcourt Airport operated from a Tarpaulin, Enugu completely short down. At the end, AMCON took over all her assets and currently facing EFCC.
(6). Our brother Ibe Kachukwu was the Chairman of NNPC BOT and Petroleum Minister at the same time. He promoted the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano Gas Pipeline. He rehabilitated the Petroleum institute in Kaduna when the Petroleum Institute in Warri was not captured in the budget. He was humiliated out of office.

(7). Obono Obla, SAN was appointed the Chairman of Government Asset Recovery Committee. His target was only all past office holders from the South South and South East. At the end, he was framed and arrested.

(8). The immediate past Managing Director of NDDC and Akwa Ibom State APC Governorship candidate, Nsima Ekere gave out emergency jobs (contracts) only to Southern Contractors fronting for Northerners. NDDC became an ATM for “the Villa Boys”. Where is he now?

(9). Rotimi Amaechi is lobbying to be the next Vice President, in 2023. His first action is to sell the South and became a saboteur. No wonder why as a Transport Minister, he found it very necessary to build the Lagos-Ibadan- Abuja-Kaduna-Kano-Katsina Rail line, Calabar-Maiduguri Rail line, Transport University in Katsina. The Great Eastern Railway line From Port Harcourt via Aba, Onitsha to Enugu to Okene in his books, is not feasible.
The minister is completing the biggest rail and road line into Niger Republic and towards the border of Niger Republic and other countries while the roads in the south are impassable. What Niger Republic has benefited in this Administration is bigger that all that South-South and South-East combined. Who are the Managing Directors of Nigerian Ports Authority and NIMASA?

(10). The current Petroleum Minister, Chief Timipre Sylva, has initiated the construction of the Ajaokuta-Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Gas Pipeline to facilitate the building of a Gas Power Station in Abuja and Kaduna and “to turn Kano into an Industrial Head Quarters”. The man is from Bayelsa State where there is over 90% unemployment and no electricity from National Grid.

(11). Ahmed Tinubu, for his desire to rule Nigeria practically sold the South and with his bullion vans rigged Buhari to power. History will tell of him soon like others.

(12). The number of appointments of people from Niger Republic in Buhari Administration is bigger than all south combined and all the National Assembly members are aware but keep quiet because of future ambition and to avoid probe.
The story

THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS ISSUE AND IF TRULY SCRIPTED BY SEN.YERIMA SANI... THEN WE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF OURSELVES, if you love this country don't be afraid of sharing this information let them all see it and read it too, especially all this men that their names are mentioned here please make sure they see this please this information is coming from a concerned Northern leader who is very very angry with all of this our people and the injustices in Nigeria.

IYC Seeks More Funds for Presidential Amnesty Program, Commends Otuaro's Good Works

IYC Seeks More Funds for Presidential Amnesty Program, Commends Otuaro's Good Works

Ijaw youths under the auspices of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) have called on the Federal Government to approve more funds for the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) to enable it perform optimally for sustainable peace of the Niger Delta.

The IYC President, Jonathan Lokpobiri, made the comment while speaking with journalists shortly after he led a delegation of the council on a courtesy visit to the Administrator of PAP, Dr Dennis Otuaro in Abuja.
A statement signed by the spokesperson for the IYC, Princewill Binebai and made available to newsmen on Wednesday, quoted Lokpobiri as stating that the scope of the PAP was expanding and should no longer be run with its current budget which had remained the same for many years.

The umbrella body of ijaw youths noted that the Programme still had a lot to do to ensure continued stabilisation of the region.

The group also argued that the present economic realities in Nigeria and emerging challenges in the region have made it even more compelling for more funds to be appropriated for the Programme.

The council said it discovered after a careful assessment of the Programme that the Dollar was exchanging for N120 when the PAP started, adding that there were sufficient justifiable reasons for the government to consider strengthening the programme with additional funds.

The Ijaw youths appealed to President Bola Tinubu and the Ministers of Budget and Finance as well as the leadership of the National Assembly to see the need to make more funds available for programme.

The statement read in part, "As Ijaw Youth Council, we have done a careful assessment of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) and the massive achievements that the programme has recorded over the years.

"However, our assessment showed that the Programme can no longer run effectively with its current budget because when it was conceived, the dollar was exchanging for N120.

"Today, this same Programme is still being run with the same budgetary provision of N65bn for a whole year. Currently, the dollar is exchanging for N1,700 and the funding of the programme has remained stagnant while the needs of the Programme are expanding.

"We, as council, want to passionately appeal to President Bola Tinubu, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Budget, the National Assembly, the Senate President and the leadership of the National Assembly to work together to improve the funding of the programme.

"There is so much that is expected from this programme because if the Niger Delta fails, Nigeria will pay more. The PAP is at the driver's seat of sustaining the peace in the Niger Delta. So the need to expand this Programme to accommodate more people is very important at this point in time."

Lokpobiri commended Otuaro for repositioning the PAP and "bringing the programme back to our people in the Niger Delta".

While stressing that the administrator's leadership role and his policy of inclusion had engendered stability in the region, Lokpobiri assured the PAP boss of the support of IYC and also thanked him for identifying with the youth body.

The statement quoted Otuaro as having reiterated his commitment to serve the people of the Niger Delta wholeheartedly as he knew the task ahead of him upon his appointment.

The PAP boss reassured the Ijaw youths that the programme was in safe hands.

He said the PAP was at the reintegration phase which he described as critical in the implementation of the programme's objectives, adding that his leadership understood the vital roles of stakeholders towards the sustainable peace, security and stability of the region.

While thanking the IYC for the visit, Otuaro said, "When I came into office, I knew the task ahead. I also know the roles of the Ijaw National Congress, IYC, our women and other organisations. That is why I usually say that this programme is in safe hands. This job is about our people. The office, under my leadership, also takes stakeholders engagement seriously."

Manager plays host to Otuaro, says he is on the right track in implementing the objectives of the amnesty program

Manager plays host to Otuaro, says he is on the right track in implementing the objectives of the amnesty program

Abuja___ Senator James Manager, who represented Delta South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has said that some of the challenges besetting the Presidential Amnesty Programme are distractions deliberately executed by some elements who do not mean well for the Ijaw nation and indeed the Niger Delta.

According to him, the malicious plots were designed to distract the PAP Administrator, Dr Dennis Otuaro, from performing his duties.

Manager, who stated this when Otuaro paid him a consultative visit in his Abuja residence at the weekend, gave the PAP boss pat on the back for handling the office effectively despite such distractions.

A statement issued by the Special Assistant on Media to the PAP Administrator, Mr Igoniko Oduma, on Sunday, quoted Manager as having stated that the PAP boss had shown great capacity and competence in the discharge of his duties since assuming office.

He noted that Otuaro's approach to the implementation of the programme's mandate indicated that he had an idea about how to administer the programme even before President Bola Tinubu appointed him.

Manager, who served the constituents of Delta South senatorial district for 20 years, said there was no doubt that Otuaro understood the challenges of the office and the problems of the Niger Delta.
He urged the PAP administrator to remain focused on his goals, and expressed delight that he had achieved a huge milestone in repositioning the office for greater service to the people of the region and the country in general.

Manager stressed that the programme was established for the sustainable peace, security, stability and development of the region, noting that Otuaro was on the right track in carrying out the programme's objectives.

He said, "Once again I want to thank you for your consultative visit. You are someone who was very involved in the struggle, and I trust that you have the capacity and competence to run the office.

"Already, you have shown capacity in the efficient manner you have handled the office and the implementation of the PAP mandate, which was created for a specific purpose and for the sustenance of the peace, security and development of the Niger Delta.

"I want to urge you to remain focused on your goals. It is true some of the challenges of the Presidential Amnesty Programme are orchestrated distractions from some elements who do not think good towards the Ijaw nation and the Niger Delta. But just be focused on things your are doing.'

Earlier in his remarks, the PAP Administrator had told Senator Manager that the programme under his leadership was working assiduously to reposition it in the overall benefit of the region.

Otuaro said the programme was at its reintegration phase which was very wide in scope, adding that with more funding the PAP office would achieve much more through its educational, vocational and post-training empowerment initiatives for the people of the region.

He said,"I know the challenges of our region. We are in the reintegration phase of the programme which is very wide in scope, and we need to do more engagement in the interest of our region and Nigeria as a whole.

"We believe that with more funding we will be able to do more for our region in terms of sustainable peace, security and unhindered development of our region.

"We have the educational, vocational and post-training empowerment programmes that we are carrying out to accommodate everybody.

"We are doing whatever we can for the betterment of our people and our region."

Refrain from criticizing Okpoye based on sentiment; you failed to criticize your brother_Egbema focus group

Refrain from criticizing Okpoye based on sentiment; you failed to criticize your brother_Egbema focus group

The Egbema Focus Group (EFG) has issued a caution against inflammatory speech directed at Hon. Spencer Okubo Okpoye, the commissioner representing the Ijaw ethnic nationalities on the board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC). This caution comes in response to an attack by Comrade Williams Ayoromiegha Junior, a youth leader from the Ogulagha Kingdom, who criticized Commissioner Okpoye on sentiment, said, Hon. Spencer is regarded as a blessing to DESOPADEC and a key representative for the Ijaw ethnic nationalities in the DESOPADEC board.

According to the Ogulagha Kingdom Publicity Secretary, Comr. Williams had described the endorsement Hon Spencer Okubo Okpoye as a “Wrong and unnecessary move “, stressing that the endorsement is unpatriotic to his people. Said, endorsements should be done based on merit and excellent performance of a leader, adding that Okpoye has done nothing close to that to deserve endorsement while Ogulagha Kingdom is yet to feel the positive impact of DESOPADEC under Okpoye as Commissioner representing Ijaw Ethnic nationality in DESOPADEC.

The stakeholders of the Egbema focus group, Comrade Mingo Meshach Saya Ogumaka, also known as KingdomVoice, has cautioned against tribal or kingdom bias in criticizing appointees from other kingdoms, particularly within DESOPADEC. Mingo emphasized the importance of fairness and warned against selective criticism, where individuals from certain kingdoms attack appointees from other areas while refusing to hold their own appointees accountable for their actions.
He stressed that all leaders, regardless of their kingdom or background, should be evaluated on their performance and service to the people. Mingo called for unity and constructive dialogue across different Ijaw kingdoms to ensure that appointees in positions of authority work in the best interest of the entire Ijaw ethnic nationality, rather than being subjected to biased and discriminatory attacks.

The Group regards the attack as an unwelcome development, emphasizing that Okpoye has been trying his best to serve the Ijaw people and fulfill his responsibilities in the commission. They urged for constructive dialogue rather than divisive rhetoric, calling for unity and collaboration among the Ijaw youth to ensure progress for the entire Ijaw ethnic nationality in DESOPADEC,

The Egbema youth leader Mingo said, the endorsement of Hon. Spencer Okubo Okpoye by the Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council was based on his merits and notable achievements in his role as the commissioner representing Ijaw ethnic nationalities on the DESOPADEC board. The youth council acknowledged Okpoye's efforts and dedication to advancing the interests of the Ijaw people, as well as his contributions toward community development through the commission.

His tenure has seen strides in addressing the needs of his constituents, and the Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council believes that Okpoye's performance justifies his position. The endorsement highlights his commitment to ensuring that DESOPADEC continues to benefit the Ijaw communities and underscores the importance of merit-based recognition for leadership roles. He said,

Just-ln: Ijaw Youths Network warns detractors to leave Otuaro alone, urges him to be focused on moves to break new grounds

Just-ln: Ijaw Youths Network warns detractors to leave Otuaro alone, urges him to be focused on moves to break new grounds

The Ijaw Youths Network has again warned detractors who are irked by the rising profile of the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr Dennis Otuaro, to stop the renewed mudslinging in the media space.

The IYN urged Otuaro to ignore paid agents who are out to sabotage his commendable efforts to return the PAP to the Niger Delta.

The IYN, in a statement by its President, Frank Ebikabo, and the Secretary, Federal Ebiaridor, on Wednesday, said the organization is concerned about repeated attacks on the image of Otuaro by unscrupulous elements who do not mean well for the region.

According to the IYN, the insinuations and ill-fated attempts to link a purportedly leaked document in custody of the Department of State Services to the administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Office is a farce not worthy of attention from serious minds.

The group noted that the PAP office is neither an annex nor an extension of the DSS office, adding that the security agency is one of the most effective and thorough  in the country which has the capacity to uncover any such infraction involving the office.

The IYN called on Niger Deltans of good conscience to condemn the asinine conspiracy and plot against Otuaro by a faceless group of greedy persons hiding under the hypocrisy of public concern to commit evil acts.
The youth group said that Otuaro’s programmes since his appointment in March 2024 had shown that President Bola Tinubu made the right choice by putting a grassroots stakeholder in charge of the PAP.

"We urge those who are used to getting free monies from the Presidential Amnesty Programme through blackmail of leaders to desist.

"We commend Dr Dennis Otuaro for the productive interactions he has had with various segments of Niger Delta stakeholders such as traditional rulers, women and youth groups and ex-agitators.

"The people of the Niger Delta are waiting for the administrator to effectively utilize available resources, to make the PAP scholarship scheme more useful to the region", the Ijaw youths said.

The IYN advised the PAP boss to keep his focus on the goal to make real impact in the region, saying failure cannot be an option.

The group pointed out that a recent report in which 21 prominent groups in the region declared support for Otuaro showed clearly that he is doing the right thing and should sustain his legacy of success.

The IYN called on all Ijaw youths to condemn the wild antics of dishonorable characters who have  attempted without success to drag the name of High Chief Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo into a non-existent fray.

Hon. Andaye made the appeal, Monday, at the occasion of the reception ceremony organized for the Walking Visit of the Senior Political Adviser to Gov Oborevwori, Sen. Edesiri Agwaravwodo, to Bomadi, headquarters of the council area, held at the Council Pavilion.

The occasion attended by political heavyweights from within and outside the council area also afforded the council chairman the opportunity to present his stewardship within three months in office.

Andaye, expressing his heartfelt appreciation to the august visitor on behalf of the people of Bomadi council area, however, thanked and welcomed him and his entourage to the riverine enclave, stressing his visit underscored the state government's unwavering commitment to the development of the council area.
Bomadi in dire need of infrastructure, basic amenities—Hon. Andaye

In his presentations, the council boss noted that council had been striving to put in place a lot of the infrastructure needs of the area and tasked the state government to intervene, urgently, on the basic needs of the people in riverine communities.

He said: "I am honoured to express our heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on behalf of the people of Bomadi local government area. We appreciate his firm commitment, consistency, concern, trust and love for our people.

"We are specifically grateful for his response to our people's plea, exemplified by the approval of the Bomadi-Ohoror road reconstruction, which will significantly boost our local economy through its multiplier effect.
"However, in order to replicate the M.O.R.E. Agenda of the state government here in Bomadi local government, my administration has embarked on an array of projects aimed at providing basic amenities, improving the quality of life and unlocking the potential of our great Bomadi local government area. We are optimistic that we will complete these projects at a record time.

"Moreover, as we strive to develop our local government with available resources, we humbly seek the state government's intervention in the following areas:

"Commencement of academic activities in the approved Delta State Polytechnic, Bomadi, popularly known as Bomadi Poly, upgrading of the General Hospital Bomadi to Central Hospital and the provision of state-of-the-art equipment, as well as approving additional primary schools across the various communities in the local government.

"Construction of shoreline protection at Bomadi and Kpakiama waterfronts, construction of a comprehensive drainage system at Bomadi to reduce the perennial flooding, construction of a befitting stadium in Bomadi and collaboration on power generation initiatives.

"It is therefore, our fervent prayer that Your Excellency's intervention on these delicate issues will also provide succour to the people of Bomadi local government area".

Just-ln: 21 N'Delta groups lash Boyloaf secretary, Gbaboyor over attack on Tompolo, Otuaro, say alleged secret document posted by Henry Okah in 2020

Just-ln: N'Delta groups lash Boyloaf secretary, Gbaboyor over attack on Tompolo, Otuaro, say alleged secret document posted by Henry Okah in 2020

No fewer than 20 Niger Delta coalition groups have strongly condemned the blackmails, abuses and unfounded lies peddled against the administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP, Chief Dennis Brutu Otuaro PhD, and High Chief Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo by one according to them hungry and destitute Jude Gbaboyor, secretary to Niger Delta former agitator, Ben Ebikabowei, alias Boyloaf.
The groups which described Gbaboyor as an enemy of Niger Delta, added that he was sacked from the amnesty office as a staff by the immediate past coordinator of the presidential Amnesty Programme PAP, Brigadier general Idiomu due to wrong doings.

The groups which say Gbaboyor is hungry and looking for daily bread include:, Niger Delta Ex-fighters, NDF, Movement for Youths of Good Conscience, MYGC, Urhobo Defenders, Ijaw People's Development Initiative, IPDI, ODM, Niger Delta Indigenous Voice, NDIV, Niger Delta Youth Initiative, NDYI, Isoko Youths For Good Governance, IYGG, Ijaw Students Initiative, ISI, Human Rights Protection Group, HRPG, Niger Delta Transparency Network, NDTN.

Others are, Niger Delta for Good Governance, NDGG, Bayelsa Eyes Group, BEG, Bayelsa-Rivers Coalition, BRC, Edo Riverine Coalition, ERC, Ondo Ijaw Movement, OIM, Rivers Ijaw Protection Group, RIPG, New Age Freedom Fighters, NAFF, Coalition for Underprivileged Rights Protection Group, URPG, Niger Delta Descendants Front, NDDF and  Niger Delta Elite Group, NDEG.
The joint statement signed by its leaders, Elder Emury Bekenawei, Comrade Peter Luke, Mr Cletus Itari, Comrade Efe Tam, Comrade God'spower Joseph, Chief Obonk Stanley, Chief Catalyst Don Pedro, Comrade Gbugbemi Tunde, Comrade Tamaralaye Android, Comrade Joseph Metal, Comrade Daniel Ekio, Comrade Fire Ebi, Comrade Thunder Lafia, and others said insane Jude Gbaboyor acting under the auspices of his boss, Boyloaf should be called to order to avoid bad blood among leaders in the region.

They said Jude Gbaboyor character assassination, blackmails, abuses and disrespect for Tompolo and Otuaro are called for concern as responsible stakeholders of the region.
The coalition who carpeted Jude Gbaboyor Facebook ranting, exonerated Dr Dennis Brutu Otuaro from the unfounded blackmails peddled by Jude Gbaboyor, citing that the alleged secret document and others were posted and published by the embattled Henry Okah on his Facebook page in 2020.

The groups said Gbaboyor is attacking Otuaro because, Otuaro refused to allow himself to be manipulated by him ( Gbaboyor) and his boss, stressing that the public should disregard all lies peddled by the desperate and hungry beggar.

However, when a proper investigation was launched by newsmen to unravel the true position of the alleged classified document, our investigation revealed that Henry Okah who is a member of the said Meinbutu voice Facebook page, posted the alleged classified document in the group by himself in 2020.

This convincing investigation showed that the said document was long posted in the public space before the Otuaro recent appointment as administrator of the presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP.

The groups concluded that Gbaboyor accusations are baseless, unfounded, mischievous, barbaric, null and void, adding that Gbaboyor only displayed his ignorance in the public space and that his information lacks facts and should not be taken seriously.
They further stated that a document that had been in the public space for about four years can no longer be described as a classified document, noting that only fools like Jude Gbaboyor could make unnecessary and attention seeking noises about it.

Stressing further, the groups said Tompolo was the face of the Niger Delta Emancipation Struggle and only insane and poor students of history like Gbaboyor could speak ill about him to seek cheap attention.

They demanded that Mr Ben Ebikabowei alias Boyloaf should call his boy, Gbaboyor to order, to avoid them teaching him a lesson, adding that his stupidity would soon clear from his eyes by the time they finish descending on him.

The Niger Delta coalition groups noted that Dr Dennis Brutu Otuaro reforms as administrator of the presidential Amnesty Programme PAP,  was felt in every nooks and crannies in the Niger Delta region, stating that only enemies whose manipulative tendencies were curtailed were angry with him.

The joint statement reads, "nobody has the monopoly to abuse and defame people and go scott free, the law is explicit, we believe he knows the punishment for what he is doing. In case he is ignorant of the devices of the law, he should be wary and begin to refrain, because ignorance is not an excuse in the law.

"We want to state unequivocally that abusing and blackmailing people because someone turns down your selfish demands and manipulative moves, are not traces among the Ijaw people.

"We watched a video where the insane Gbaboyor was lamenting that he asked Dr Dennis Brutu Otuaro for a favour, though he refused to disclose the kind of favour and that it was turned down. It plays out clearly from the video that the reason for Gbaboyor clandestine and lackadaisical activities were because his request for undue favour and attempt to influence his way to Otuaro was denied.

"It is shameful that Gbaboyor could condescend so-low to blackmail and defame people for selfish reasons, we are truly disappointed in him, such a poor mindset parading like a saint in a broad daylight.

"We appeal to Dr Dennis Brutu Otuaro not to be deterred by characters like Gbaboyor who speaks for his stomach. Please continue your good works we are seeing your reforms and innovative leadership qualities as PAP administrator. We are solidly behind you to support and propagate your good works", they stated.

Niger Delta Activist, Mulade Urges President Tinubu to Save Nigeria’s Judiciary

Niger Delta Activist, Mulade Urges President Tinubu to Save Nigeria’s Judiciary

"Judges used Technicality for politically influence Cases-  Sheriff Mulade

Renowned Niger Delta-born human rights and peace advocate, Comrade Mulade Sheriff, has made an urgent appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR to safeguard the independence and integrity of Nigeria's judiciary. Comrade Sheriff emphasized the importance of the judiciary as a pillar of democracy and the last hope of the common man.

Key Points of Appeal:

- Restore Confidence in the Judiciary: "Mr. President, it has become necessary to formally appeal to you to salvage our judiciary, which is the core of society and democracy. A fair and independent judiciary ensures fairness, equity, and justice for all Nigerians. Without it, our democratic system is at risk of crumbling under the weight of political interests," Comrade Sheriff declared.

- Judgments Jeopardizing Justice: "We are deeply worried about some recent judgments that have created confusion, chaos, and threatened to erode the reverence and trust in our justice system. Nigeria’s judiciary has been the beacon of hope, not just for Nigerians, but for the African continent. However, political interference and vested interests are putting our judicial integrity under severe pressure."

- Political Interference: Comrade Sheriff expressed concerns about political interests that continue to undermine the independence of the courts. "We are witnessing a worrying trend where the judiciary is being politicized, and certain judgments are driven by political interests rather than the rule of law."

- Technicalities Undermining Justice: Comrade Sheriff Mulade further highlighted a troubling pattern in which judges, particularly in the Federal and State High Courts, dismiss public-interest cases on technical grounds. "It is alarming how often cases of national importance are dismissed based on technicalities, preventing the judiciary from addressing the real merits of the case. This practice frustrates the hopes of ordinary Nigerians seeking justice."
The Role of an Independent Judiciary in a Thriving Democracy:

Drawing inspiration from global historical figures, Comrade Mulade Sheriff  underscored the need for President Tinubu to guarantee judicial independence as part of a thriving democratic system:

- George Washington’s Vision: The founding father of the American presidential system, George Washington, emphasized the separation of powers between the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial arms of government. This separation is crucial for maintaining a system of checks and balances, where no one branch can dominate or subvert the rule of law.

- Thomas Jefferson’s Advocacy: President Jefferson highlighted that a free and independent judiciary serves as the ultimate check on the excesses of the other arms of government, ensuring that no individual or group is above the law.

- Abraham Lincoln’s Leadership: In times of national crisis, President Lincoln demonstrated the importance of an impartial judiciary, which upheld the rights of all citizens and preserved the democratic ideals of the nation.

- Lord Denning’s Judicial Legacy: Renowned British jurist Lord Denning famously remarked that justice must not only be done but must also be seen to be done. The Nigerian judiciary must operate transparently and free from undue influence to maintain the trust of the people.

I want to strongly appeal to Mr President and our reverend judges to save Nigeria judiciary integrity irrespective of tribe, religion and political affiliation. It is worthy of note that the failure of the Nigeria judiciary will create room for chaos and anarchy that will lead to self-defense by Nigerians. Therefore, political judges in the judiciary should resign to save our justice system and the people before mass protest.

Call to Action:
It is imperative to conclude by calling on President Tinubu to take immediate steps to ensure the full independence of the judiciary and to restore public trust in the legal system. He urged that political influence over court decisions be eradicated and that the judiciary should remain a neutral arbiter of justice, as intended in a democratic presidential system.

"Our democracy cannot survive if the judiciary is compromised. We implore you, Mr. President, to act decisively and protect the independence of the judiciary. This is a critical step toward ensuring fairness, justice, and equality for all Nigerians," Comrade Sheriff urged.
