Delta State Taskforce On Environment Arrests A General Overseer For Flouting Social Distance Order At Ovwie
Warri_____ The Delta state Taskforce Chairman on Environment Honourable Sylvester Oromoni has said that there would be no hiding place for any religious organisation which failed to operate within the ambit of the law, regardless of their faith.
Honourable Sylvester Oromoni made this statement after the Taskforce on Environment sealed Christ The Master Prayer Ministry owned by a popular Urhobo Christian Musician Evang. Jerry Omamesiri Ekpekuro.
The sealed facilities is located at Ogbolokposo in Uvwie local Government Area of Delta state.
According to Oromoni, religious organisations were supposed to demonstrate good conduct and Law abiding.
Those recalcitrant organisations or worship centres known to be flouting the order of the state Government will face the full wrath of the law.
In as much as the state government is positively disposed to the peaceful conduct of religion of choice by its citizens, it does not condone insubordination in the name of religious activities.
The General Overseer Was immediately handed over to the Ebrumede Police for onward interrogations.
