Dan Yingi, former member Delta State House of Assembly Burutu North Constituency, were some of the high profile personalities that attended the final burial rites of the late King (Pere) of Ngbilebiri-Mein kingdom, Kiagbodo in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria, His Royal Majesty, Bigborogha ll JP, RFMIL Samuel Hitler Perekeme on Saturday 17th August, 2024.
Other notable dignitaries are, the member representing Burutu South Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Peres Oloye, the CEO Seigha Group of Companies, Sir. Clement Moni, the ljaw Traditional Rulers Council of Delta State ably led by the Chairman, HRM. King Capt. Joseph Timiyan, the lbenanaowei of Ogulagha Kingdom, Rt. Hon. Joseph Alubeze Fuludu, former Leader Burutu Legislative Arm, Chief. Ebikeme Clark, Honourable Commissioner for Riverine communities Development, Chief. Godwin Masah, Peretunteri elect, Chief. Prince Dr. Christopher Perekeme, Hon. Sunny Perekeme, Barr. Preye Onduku, Pst/Mrs. Dr. Akpo Onduku, Hon. Godwin Edumogiren, Hon. Chief. Mrs. Georgina Evah, Vice Chairperson Burutu LGA, Comr. In his condolence and tribute message, the governor of Delta State, ably represented by his Senior Political Adviser, distinguished Senator Emmanuel Aguariavwodo described the late respected monarch of Ngbilebiri-Mein kingdom as a peace lover and a man who fears and loves God.
He served his subjects in the fear of God and always tow the part of administering fairness and justice to sustain peace within his kingdom and neighbouring Olomu kingdom.
Senator Aguariavwodo further described the serene atmosphere and the carnival like final burial rites of Pere Bigborogha ll JP as a sign of His Royal Majesty's peaceful nature while he was ruling his people.
On behalf of the Delta State Government, he sincerely condoles with the peace loving people of Ngbilebiri-Mein kingdom, especially the ljaw National leader, Sen. Dr. E K. Clark, children of the late monarch, the royal family and the good people of Burutu Local Government Area for the passage of their King, while praying for the precious soul of the departed monarch to rest in perfect peace in the bosom of the Lord, Aguariavwodo stated.
Others in attendance are, Ogbolubiri King, Akugnene-Mein king, Iduwini king, Isaba king, Operemor king, Double Chief. Promise Lawuru, Chief. Emmanuel Okosukeme, Chief. Emmanuel Amgbaduba, Hon. Prince Lucky Youbogha, Hon. Ebigberi Diri, Princess Vera Manager, Ayakoromo community, Bikorogha Community, Oyangbene Community, Akparemo Community and many others who attended the final burial ceremony to bid the late Bigborogha ll JP who passed on at 78years farewell.
The one week long burial ceremony also featured various cultural display of the ljaw tradition, the ologbo cultural dance troupe, the lgbelegbele cultural dance troupe, the Ngbilebiri cultural dance troupe, Ayakoromo masquerade dance group, football tournament, night of tributes/hip-hop musical display and the main guest artist through out the event, Gen. Best May JFred put a finishing touch as he tirelessly performed beautiful ljaw owigiri high life music to entertained the mammoth crowd that grace the occasion.
