Warri _____ Final burial rites for the former Transition Committee Chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Council of Delta State, late Hon. (Chief) David Nane Pere (JP), aged 71, the lbediwei of lzansa, ljelejele, Ekeremor communities in Ogbe-ljoh Warri kingdom has been announced by the family.
In a statement jointly signed by Hon. Francis Oyimi, Chairman burial planning committee, Chief (Amb.) Francis Bomiebi (JP), Secretary planning committee, Chief Joel Ogbona, for Ogbe-ljoh Warri leaders of thought , Capt. John Eyoroengagha for the family and Mr Martins David Pere for the children stated as follows:
Wednesday 9th October, 2024: Service of Songs/Wake keep at his warri residence No, 3 Usiayo street, off St. Mary's Hospital road, off Airport road, Ogboroke Effurun Delta State by 3:PM.

Friday 11th October, 2024, body leaves Vennel Mortuary Warri by 8:AM through Miller Waterside via barge to his home Town, Ogbe-ljoh Warri Kingdom in Warri South-West LGA, Delta State.

10:30AM_ body arrives Warri South-West Local Government Secretariat Ogbe-ljoh for Valedictory Session.
11:AM_ Lying in state at Ewen primary school field for funeral service.
1:PM_ internment at his compound Ogbe-ljoh.
Entertainment of guest follows immediately at Ewen primary school field Ogbe-ljoh.

Meanwhile, until his death, High Chief David Nane Pere was a great leader and Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Warri South-West LGA in particular, and Delta State at large.
He was equally the lbediwei of lzansa, ljelejele Ekeremor communities in Ogbe-ljoh Warri Kingdom, Delta State.
He would be greatly missed by family, friends, political associates and business partners in the Niger Delta region.
May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace, Amen.
