Gen. Abraham lauds Otuaro on recent deployment of 98 amnesty delegates for maritime training

Warri _____ The leader of Emadaja Camp and National Secretary of the Presidential Amnesty Phase two generals, Gen. Abraham Vwaghie popularly known as Father 1 has commended the administrator of the amnesty program, High Chief. (Dr.) Dennis Burutu Otuaro on his recent display of leadership acumen by deploying 98 amnesty delegates for maritime related training at Joemarine institute of Nautical Studies and Research who had been neglected and deprived of training by pass administrators of the program.

Gen. Vwaghie made the commendation in warri on Friday during a press briefing with journalists noted that Otuaro is God sent to reposition the amnesty program to the ideals of its establishment.
He noted that Otuaro as a man of the people took the bull by the horn by expanding the program to accommodate more stakeholders from the Niger Delta region to benefit as impacted communities, thereby adding more value to the program.

He also promised to introduce new programs to empower the wives and children of the ex-agitators as well as refresher training to those who had already been trained for long in order to empower them with starta packs.

According to him, said:" Otuaro under his personal capacity pays hospital bills for some ex-agitators who had accident. He settle their children school fees and renders assistance to beneficiaries who called on him at distress time.

" Otuaro added back genuine beneficiaries delisted from the program by former corrupt administrators of the amnesty office. He resolved BVN related issues which other administrators could not address.

" He promised to engage those ex-agitators who are part of the struggle but did not drop arms at the initial stage due to fear into life changing program in order to stop them from going back to the creeks."
Finally, Vwaghie reiterated that Otuaro's type of leadership is rare in this present contemporary society, adding that he deserves commendation and support from Niger Delta stakeholders, the statement added.
