Naija Fitness Festival to hold in Africa for Peace Game Village Ugolo April 19th, in Delta

Preparation is on top gear for the annual Naija fitness festival.

This years 8th edition is scheduled to hold on Saturday 19th April, 2025 at the popular Africa For Peace Games Village, Ugolo Junction, Okpe LGA, near Osubi Delta State. 

Time: 7AM Prompt.

Access: Free
Dress Code: Fitness Wear.
Addressing the press on Monday, the GM Africa for Peace Games Village, Mr David Eyesan stated that the fitness program is taking place on the Easter holiday period. He said the idea is to enable many families to create time to enjoy themselves after many working days.
 Eyesan noted that there is no age bracket for participants as far as the event is concerned. He stressed that participation is free so that Deltans can use the opportunity to benefit fitness of their health, create new friendship and network by relating with different people coming from far and near. 

He however, charged parents to come with their children, male, female and the aged to participate in order to enjoy healthy life and fitness, he asserted.
In his speech, the CEO EmmaPassions Fitness and Spa, Mr. Emmanuel Emesakoru, who is the organizer and creator of physical fitness noted that they rebranded the name from Warri Fitness to Naija Fitness in order to attract larger participation. He emphasized that the main vision of the event is to enable people moving in good health so as to prevent Obesity.
He noted there will be different activities on that day including strong man/woman challenge, football, table tennis, long tennis, snooker game, Ludo game, scrabble and also Safari Pharmacy would be there to provide free blood pressure and sugar level check up etc.

The organizers further assured participants of adequate security and serene environment, adding that the K/Q Restaurant will provide various Africa delicacies menu for affordable prices for participants. 

There will be free transportation to and fro positioned at various locations at PTI junction, DSC Permanent Camp and College of Education Edjeba to convey participants by 7AM, the statement added.
In his reaction, pastor Sam the senior manager of CEPEJ emphasized on the need for healthy environment by our people. He urged families to come out to have a feel of the various activities that will take place on that day.

This years fitness festival would be full of fun and many healthy benefits, Deltans are urged to grab this opportunity to keep fit and remain healthy at all time.
