Francis Tayor

The management of Niger Delta Mirror also known as The RealNews Media, an online newspaper owned by Mr. Charlse Oyinbi Onduku hereby remorsefully retracts and renders unreserved public apology to Odimodi Federated Community, the Chairman, Hon. Chief. New-World Endoro, Mr. Solomon Gbegha, Hon. Chief. Combolous Ekisa, Chief. Sunday Gbegha, Mr. Doufe Justice, Hon. Teddy Benikurukuru, Hon. Akin Benikurukuru and Hon. Afidi Ebiarede respectively over the publication of a story dated Monday 26th May, 2025 at about 6:38AM with the caption: ' IGP Arrests Ndoro, Gbegha over communal crisis in Odimodi Community, as Sunny, lkisa, Teddy, Afidi, others on the run as police declares them wanted'.
In respect of the above, the management of the news media regrettably retract the entire publication and renders unreserved public apology which may have caused you public embarrassment, emotional pains or  tarnished your hard earned image over the years following the publication of the unintentional report as a result of misinformation by the source of the story.
The management offered this retraction and Public Apology in a good faith, with a sense of responsibility and a firm commitment to more informed, factual, truthful and balanced report in our future engagements.
The management having discovered the truth of the matter shortly after publication of the report, deem it fit to immediately pull down the entire publication from our news site, Facebook page as well as other social media Whatsapp groups on thesme Monday 26th May, 2025 at about 6:41AM.
The general public is hereby urged to disregard the earlier publication made by our media organization, that Odimodi Community is peaceful and there was no communal crisis caused by the names listed above in Odimodi Federated Community in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.

And that the Chairman Odimodi Federated Community, Chief. New-World Endoro and his predecessor, Mr. Solomon Gbegha was not arrested as a result of the alleged allegations of causing communal crisis in Odimodi Federated Community, rather they where charged to court following a false petition against them, and thereafter asked to bail themselves in which they where unable to met the bail application terms and conditions due to limited time factor.
And that the lnspector General of Nigerian Police Force, IGP Olukayode Egbetokun never declared the above names mentioned wanted and that they where all lies fabricated by our source to mislead the general public.
The management once again, expressed our deepest apology as regards to the misguided publication, considering mutual respect to personal dignity as well as towing the part of peace as a panacea for society development.

Signed:

Management
