Okowa’s Arrest: Delta Group Urges Gov. Oborevwori to Assist EFCC to Recover Looted State Funds by Okowa

Okowa’s Arrest: Delta Group Urges Gov. Oborevwori to Assist EFCC to Recover Looted State Funds by Okowa

The group, New Delta Coalition, has urged Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to cooperate fully with federal investigators regarding alleged financial mismanagement during Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa’s tenure as governor.

Okowa is accused of misappropriating N1.3 trillion of Delta State funds between 2015 and 2023.

The former governor who was arrested was subsequently detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Reacting to the arrest, the coalition in a statement by Godwin Anaughe, called for transparency and accountability, stressing that Governor Oborevwori, as the former Speaker of the Delta State Assembly, has a responsibility to ensure that the state’s resources are protected.

He also stressed the need for the governor to work with investigators to recover allegedly looted funds and hold Okowa and his collaborators accountable.

According to the coalition, the whopping N1.3 trillion alleged to have been misappropriated by Okowa’s administration represents 13% derivation funds of Delta State’s allocation from the federation account between 2015 and 2023.
The group claimed that the alleged diversion of funds for personal gain, including acquiring properties in Abuja and Asasa, Delta State, has breached public trust during Okowa’s governorship.

They also condemned the suspicious investment of N40 billion in UTM Floating Liquefied Natural Gas, allegedly redirected for unrelated purposes, adds complexity to Okowa’s alleged misdeeds.

The statement reads;

The arrest and detention of Ifeanyi Okowa, former Governor of Delta State, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged misappropriation of N1.3 trillion of Delta State funds is shocking but hardly surprising. This staggering amount, representing 13% derivation funds of Delta State’s allocation from the federation account between 2015 and 2023, was meant to benefit the people of Delta State.

Ifeanyi Okowa’s alleged diversion of these funds for personal gain, including acquiring properties in Abuja and Asaba, Delta State, breached public trust during his governorship. Furthermore, the suspicious investment of N40 billion in UTM Floating Liquefied Natural Gas, allegged to have been redirected for unrelated purposes, adds another layer of complexity to Okowa’s alleged misdeeds.

These revelations, especially given his history of neglecting to pay civil servants and pensioners while accumulating massive debt, make Okowa’s dismal record of achievement in office all the more disappointing.

Okowa’s alleged financial crimes confirm the prevalent and pervasive corruption, lack of transparency and accountability, impunity, and executive lawlessness of the PDP administration in Delta State, which over the years have exacerbated the struggles of everyday Deltans. It’s unacceptable that those in power prioritize personal gain over the welfare of the people they serve.

The EFCC’s investigation and arrest of Okowa are crucial steps toward ensuring accountability and justice. We commend the EFCC’s efforts and urge them to conduct a thorough investigation to ensure that the funds are recovered and the perpetrators are prosecuted and brought to justice.

Delta State’s widespread poverty and underdevelopment have been constructed and sustained by monumental corruption and theft of the state’s resources. The chronic lack of basic social services, infrastructure, and economic opportunities contradicts the humongous federal allocations. While Okowa and his cronies allegedly looted the state’s treasury, the good people of Delta State remained consigned to live in squalor and extreme poverty.

Poverty conditions in the state’s oil-rich areas are exacerbated by unremedied pollution, ecological damage, and unmitigated climate change. Oil-producing communities in Urhobo, Itsekiri, Ijaw, Isoko and Ndokwa continue to suffer neglect and misery due to corruption and bad governance.

The Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), established to facilitate development, has failed to justify its mandate and dashed hopes for sustained interventions to promote development and progress of concerned areas.

The lack of visible progress and development under Governor Oborevwori’s administration is astounding and suggests a bleak future for Deltans, particularly regarding the alleged misappropriation of massive funds flowing into the state’s coffers. Between June 2023 and July 2024, Delta State received N239.6 billion.

The New Delta Coalition strongly condemns Okowa’s alleged financial crimes. We call for a thorough and transparent investigation and prosecution of the perpetrators. Deltans deserve to be served with the highest attainable standards of transparency, accountability, and good, effective governance. We will continue to advocate for their rights, with the sole aim of Building A New Delta.

Timaya Testify's About the Goodness of Olamide in Promoting Young Talents in Nigeria Music lndustry

Timaya Testify's About the Goodness of Olamide in Promoting Young Talents in Nigeria Music lndustry

🟠 Olamide is just everything.

"I had an old song which i recorded with Olamide years ago and we couldn't release the song, i reached out to him when i wanted to release my previous album and i told him i was putting that old track on the album.
Baddoo said to me "Bro that sh*t is Old"😑 i was kinda disappointed in a second and he continued the conversation saying Bro why don't we do something New together.
At that time i was in London and i explained to him that i can't fly back to Nigeria coz i was working tirelessly for the album.

Olamide called Phyno on what he has in mind and at that time Phyno recently sighed Alpha P to he's label so he was looking for opportunity to shine.
Olamide recorded a verse so as phyno and alpha p also did and they left a space for me.

Baddoo called me few days later and told me he sent me a song and at my free time i should record my verse on it and put it on my album.😳
I was literally surprised, Baddoo didn't only gave me a free verse he also paid Phyno and Alpha P like it was he's song and gave it to me for Free ☺️.

Olamide is a man with a good heart and that's one of the reasons i respect him till date.

— Timaya reveals in a recent interview.

PAP: South South Monarchs Back Otuaro's Reforms Agenda to Reposition Amnesty Program

PAP: South South Monarchs Back Otuaro's Reforms Agenda to Reposition Amnesty Program

The South-South Monarchs Forum has backed reforms being carried out by the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr Dennis Otuaro, to reposition the programme for greater and better service delivery to the Niger Delta people.

The first-class traditional rulers' body particularly applauded Otuaro for his robust policy of stakeholder engagement aimed at strengthening the peace-building process and development in the Niger Delta.

Chairman of the SSMF and former Minister of Petroleum Resources, His Royal Majesty, King Edmund Daukoru, stated this during a meeting with Otuaro on Friday.

The meeting held at the instance of the forum at the Bayelsa State Traditional Rulers Council secretariat in Yenagoa.

This was just as some Niger Delta youths made up of members of the Ijaw Youths Council, Central Zone, and Phases Two and Three of PAP staged a solidarity rally in the Bayelsa State capital to express their support for the leadership of Otuaro and the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
IYC's national director of mobilisation, Harry Fubara, and the Central Zone Chairman, Perekosufa Ineife, warned sponsors of negative campaigns against Otuaro to stop their ill-advised activities, noting that the PAP Administrator had achieved a lot since he was appointed.

A statement signed by the Special Assistant on Media to the PAP Administrator, Mr Igoniko Oduma, on Sunday quoted Daukoru as having noted that Otuaro's practical approach to stakeholder engagement was a testament to his desire to serve the region.

Daukoru, who was represented by the Chairman of the Bayelsa State Traditional Rulers Council, HRM King Bubaraye Dakolo, expressed approval of Otuaro's appointment and his genuine effort to reinvigorate the programme for sustainable peace, security, and stability in the region.

The royal fathers assured Otuaro that he would complete his tenure in office and urged his detractors to allow him to do his job.

Daukoru, who is the Amanyanabo of Nembe Kingdom, advised the Federal Government to dismiss calls from anti-Niger Delta elements to terminate the PAP,  stressing that the issues that necessitated the establishment of the programme had not been resolved.

The former Secretary-General of OPEC noted that Otuaro had, since assuming office, demonstrated a full understanding of his job and the programme's mandate.

He said, "You understand the Niger Delta and your coming here underscores that because you have chosen the path of dialogue, and meeting with all stakeholders at all levels. There is no better way to achieve peace and development in the Niger Delta. We want to applaud you very specially.

"This time, it would not be like before when administrators did not finish their tenures. You will serve your term through. Furthermore, in the past, there had been an attempt by the Government of Nigeria to cancel out this programme.

"But we have always said that you cannot cancel out this programme. Because until peace is completely restored and all those youths have been trained and rehabilitated, even if you have spent N3 trillion, the aim has not been achieved.

"So we cannot end a programme that was aimed at achieving a particular result when the result has not been achieved. We are using this opportunity to reiterate that the PAP must first of all achieve its mandate in full. We are here to ensure that that happens. So the Federal Government of Nigeria should allow you to lead the PAP to achieve that.

"For those who have been disturbing everyone else, this (PAP administrator) is one person you should not disturb. You should allow him to do his job, which is to ensure that the Niger Delta people who are supposed to be rehabilitated are rehabilitated, not only on paper  but are practically trained and fully rehabilitated, and then peace is restored in the Niger Delta."

Several members of the SSMF from Akwa Ibom, Delta, and Rivers states, among others, including the Eze Gbakagbaka of Evo kingdom, HRM King Leslie Eke; the Pere of Akugbene-Mein kingdom, HRM King Pere Luke; and HRM King Ogurimerime Ukori, Ovie of Agbon kingdom, in their solidarity speeches, commended Otuaro for hitting the ground running.

While thanking President Tinubu for appointing Otuaro, they equally urged the PAP boss to remain focused on his job and not be distracted by those who did not mean well for the peace, economic growth, and security of the region.

Responding, the PAP administrator stated that he was driven by passion and dedication for service to the people of the region, assuring the kings that President Tinubu was interested in the progress of the Niger Delta.

Otuaro pledged his commitment to reforms and deepening of his policies of stakeholder engagement, inclusivity, and continuity of the schemes that had been strategically reviewed due to the expanding scope of the programme.

"I will always seek your majesties' advice. I deemed it necessary to come and interact with you, my fathers, because that is the right thing to do. As revered traditional rulers under the auspices of the South-South Monarchs Forum, you mean the business of peace and development of the region," he added.

Gen. Abraham lauds Otuaro on recent deployment of 98 amnesty delegates for maritime training

Gen. Abraham lauds Otuaro on recent deployment of 98 amnesty delegates for maritime training

Francis Tayor

Warri _____ The leader of Emadaja Camp and National Secretary of the Presidential Amnesty Phase two generals, Gen. Abraham Vwaghie popularly known as Father 1 has commended the administrator of the amnesty program, High Chief. (Dr.) Dennis Burutu Otuaro on his recent display of leadership acumen by deploying 98 amnesty delegates for maritime related training at Joemarine institute of Nautical Studies and Research who had been neglected and deprived of training by pass administrators of the program.

Gen. Vwaghie made the commendation in warri on Friday during a press briefing with journalists noted that Otuaro is God sent to reposition the amnesty program to the ideals of its establishment.
He noted that Otuaro as a man of the people took the bull by the horn by expanding the program to accommodate more stakeholders from the Niger Delta region to benefit as impacted communities, thereby adding more value to the program.

He also promised to introduce new programs to empower the wives and children of the ex-agitators as well as refresher training to those who had already been trained for long in order to empower them with starta packs.

According to him, said:" Otuaro under his personal capacity pays hospital bills for some ex-agitators who had accident. He settle their children school fees and renders assistance to beneficiaries who called on him at distress time.

" Otuaro added back genuine beneficiaries delisted from the program by former corrupt administrators of the amnesty office. He resolved BVN related issues which other administrators could not address.

" He promised to engage those ex-agitators who are part of the struggle but did not drop arms at the initial stage due to fear into life changing program in order to stop them from going back to the creeks."
Finally, Vwaghie reiterated that Otuaro's type of leadership is rare in this present contemporary society, adding that he deserves commendation and support from Niger Delta stakeholders, the statement added.

Gov. Diri Calls on N'Deltan Reps in National Assembly to Prioritize Funding of Amnesty Program

Gov. Diri Calls on N'Deltan Reps in National Assembly to Prioritize Funding of Amnesty Program

The Governor of Bayelsa State, Governor Douye Diri has said that funding is critical for the success of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.

The Governor for adequate funding of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) for it to function effectively.

Diri also stressed that PAP was not a gift to the Niger Delta region but was deliberately designed to bring some form of succor to the abandoned oil rich region.

"I like my brothers from other states to recognise that amnesty was not a gift to the Niger Delta but to bring succour to a people that had been abandoned."
Governor Diri made the call on Friday when he received the PAP Administrator, Dr Dennis Otuaro, and his delegation in Government House,  Yenagoa.

The governor stressed that funding was critical for the survival of the programme.

He advocated the need for state governments and National Assembly members from the Niger Delta to collaborate towards addressing the funding challenges of the PAP.

He said: "There is no place that will survive without funds. These are some of the issues that we as governors can also support in ensuring that our National Assembly members make the contacts and synergise so that these issues will not be left for you alone to handle."
He advised Dr Otuaro to build linkages across relevant state governments within the region to ensure that the programme made a meaningful impact, noting that the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) also faces similar challenges, which had affected its activities.

The Bayelsa governor cautioned against the call for the scrapping of the programme, saying the issues that led to its establishment have not been addressed.

According to him, despite the transition to renewable energy, crude oil production still plays a vital role in the nation's economy and advocates for continuation of the programme.

During recalled a brief history of the armed struggle of the Ijaw people from the days of Jasper Adaka Boro, while stressing the critical place of the PAP in the region.

"The ljaws, for long, have been suffocated in a structure that they had given their all in terms of human and natural resources. Over the years, there has been a long cry of neglect and underdevelopment.

"The initial armed struggle in Ijawland basically fought for justice and development. The community called Oloibiri in Bayelsa State, where crude oil was first struck in commercial quantities in 1956, is now a shadow of itself. Nothing was ploughed back into Oloibiri that brought out all the trillions of naira for Nigeria.
While commending the previous administrators of the programme for creating training centres across the region, the governor decried the vandalism at the training centre in Kaiama in Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area of the state and urged Otuaro to revamp it.

In his remarks, the PAP Administrator requested the support of the state government in the area of funding for its training programmes.

Otuaro said the programme was at the rehabilitation and reintegration stage and there was a need to consult with all relevant stakeholders to ensure its success.

He noted that from 2014, funding for the programme was reduced by half while its scope was expanding, particularly when it had about 1,681 students in tertiary institutions in the country and 38 students studying abroad.

Otuaro also disclosed that 98 maritime cadets have just been deployed within the country, stressing that there was a need to expand the programme to accommodate women stakeholders that are business-oriented.

He applauded Senator Diri for his administration's efforts in ensuring that Bayelsa remained peaceful, adding that Ijaw people were happy with the prevailing peace and security as Bayelsa is the homogenous state for all ljaws.

IPF caution ljaw nation against consequences of pull him down syndrome, calls for unity, support for Otuaro, other ljaw sons in leadership position

AN OPEN LETTER TO THE IJAW NATION

A CALL FOR SUPPORT FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL AMNESTY PROGRAMME UNDER CHIEF DENNIS BRUTU OTUARO PhD AS ADMINISTRATOR

We write as critical stakeholders of the Ijaw nation and Niger Delta region. Ijaw means the truth and we must at all times stand by the truth without fear or favour. We are making this urgent call because we are highly disturbed about our quick moves to condemn and pull down our children in the public offices. The time has come for us, as a people, to rally together and build a stronger and more united Ijaw nation. Today, we have an important opportunity before us, one that holds great promise for our future: the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) under the capable leadership of the Administrator, High Chief Dennis Otuaro, PhD. It is in this spirit of unity and progress that we, the Ijaw Publishers' Forum (IPF), write to you with a message of hope, encouragement, and, most importantly, a call for support.
SUPPORT FOR OTUARO's REFORMS AND QUALITY LEADERSHIP

The PAP which was initiated by late president Umaru Yar'adua in 2009 was designed to bring sustainable peace, rehabilitation, and reintegration of Niger Delta ex-agitators, in a view of addressing the long-standing challenges faced by our people. The leadership of High Chief Dennis Otuaro PhD presents us with a renewed opportunity to make these objectives a reality. We must not allow the mistakes of the past or individual interests to derail the progress of the programme under Dr Otuaro. Rather, we should all support the Administrator in his efforts to uphold the core goals of disarmament, rehabilitation, and reintegration.
It is time for us to move beyond the negative narratives and build a future where every Ijaw youth can thrive. By working together, we can ensure that the programme remains focused on sustainable economic development and empowerment. We must encourage Chief Otuaro to continue creating opportunities for vocational training, sponsored educational scholarship, and entrepreneurship for our people. This is not only for the ex-agitators but for the entire Ijaw community and by extension, the Niger-Delta.

However, our analysis and observations from a very professional angle showed that Dr Otuaro is barely eighty months in the amnesty office being appointed in March 2024, and that it is just too early for anyone to question his performance. Except someone has premeditated sentiments against him, Otuaro has brought some good reforms and initiatives to advance the amnesty programme. It would interest anyone who cares to know that Dr Otuaro restored the suspended foreign scholarship programme, vocational training and reinstating the suspended multiple BVN accounts of affected ex-agitators, we think this should be commended.

Furthermore, we are aware of the painstaking efforts of Dr Otuaro of engaging every stakeholder in the Niger Delta. With just a few times in office, he has held two (2) comprehensive stakeholders meeting, gathering critical stakeholders in the region, including traditional rulers, women and youth leaders and coupled with expanded individual stakeholders' engagement across the region.  This should convince any progressive mind that Dr Otuaro means well for Niger Delta region and Beneficiaries of the amnesty programme.

In advancing sustainable peace and stability in the Niger Delta region, Dr. Otuaro has emphasised the need for expanding the Amnesty Programme to accommodate some aggrieved interests, and as we speak, we have verified information that the PAP office has received thousands of applications seeking to be included in the vocational training and educational scholarship scheme, and third phase camp leaders have also started submitting lists of their boys who were omitted during the disbarment process. We think this is a demonstration of capacity and readiness to serve and make things better for his people.

We wish to state unequivocally that as a people, our criticism should be devoid of personal interests and bias but be based on proper analysis of performance and general concerns of community development.

THE ROLE OF THE IJAW PUBLISHERS' FORUM (IPF) AS INTELLECTUAL ARM OF IJAW NATION

One of the primary objectives of the Ijaw Publishers' Forum is to "Rewrite the Ijaw Story." As representatives of the Publishers, Editors-in-Chief and media practitioners of the Ijaw nation, we are committed to supporting the Genuine Ijaw Cause and backing any Ijaw visionary leader in a position of authority who is ready to provide quality representation to our people. We believe that telling our story accurately and positively is crucial to changing the wrong narratives about our people and fostering development in our communities.

It is crucial to clarify that the Ijaw Publishers' Forum is not a political organisation; rather, we pride ourselves as the conscience of the Ijaw nation. Our goal is to be the voice of reason and unity for our people. We write this open letter in a bid to put an end to the rumblings and divisions that have arisen from different angles, most especially from our own Ijaw brothers and sisters. We must prioritise the general interest of the Ijaw nation and, by extension, the Niger Delta region.

We cannot afford to let internal conflicts weaken us or divert attention from the pressing needs of our communities. It is imperative that we come together to support any genuine efforts towards any sustainable peace and development in Niger Delta. As a united people, we will achieve more than we could as divided factions. This is why we appeal for collective responsibility and urge everyone to put the interests of the Ijaw nation above all personal interests and sentiments.

THE NEED FOR TRANSPARENCY AND INCLUSIVENESS

To make the PAP truly impactful, we need to advocate for transparency and accountability in the administration of the programme. We must call on our leaders, vendors, and contractors to ensure that the distribution of resources is fair and reaches the people who need it most. However, while we advocate for these ideals, we must also avoid pulling down those who are working towards them. The "bring him down" syndrome has harmed our progress for too long. It is time we collectively put an end to it.

We should also push for inclusiveness, where more affected communities, beyond just the beneficiaries listed in the program's early stages, are considered. The success of the PAP will benefit not just the ex-agitators but all communities impacted by the struggles. Let us encourage projects that will provide healthcare, education, and infrastructure for the broader Ijaw nation.

OUR COMMITMENT TO SUPPORTING IJAW REPRESENTATIVES

As the Ijaw Publishers' Forum, we want to assure the Ijaw nation that we will be the first to bring to the attention of Chief Dennis Brutu Otuaro or any other Ijaw representative of the feelings and concerns of our people. It is our duty to serve as a bridge between the leaders and the people, ensuring that voices are heard and that feedback is acted upon. We do this out of our dedication to the Ijaw cause and not for any personal gain.

ADDRESSING YOUTH RESTIVENESS AND CREATING JOBS

The challenge of youth unemployment is real, and addressing it, is key to lasting peace. Chief Otuaro’s administration is focused on creating opportunities for our youth, and we must all lend our voices and efforts to support initiatives that will curb restiveness. It is not enough to train young people; there must be job creation and business opportunities as well. We should all take it upon ourselves to support this administration's efforts to engage companies and organisations for job creation and partnership opportunities.

UNITY IS OUR STRENGTH

Ijaw sons and daughters, one of the major challenges that has plagued our people is the lack of unity and the failure to stand as our brother’s keeper. It is time to put an end to this division. We cannot continue to tear down those among us who rise to positions of leadership. Let us support Chief Dennis Otuaro wholeheartedly and give him the chance to succeed. His success is not for him alone but a success for the entire Ijaw nation.

Every Ijaw person has a role to play. We must actively participate in dialogues and ensure that the peace initiatives being implemented are supported. It is our duty to engage in positive discourse and avoid actions that can undermine the efforts being made for the betterment of our people.

A CALL FOR COLLECTIVE RESPONSIVITY

The future of the Ijaw nation rests on our collective actions today. If we fail to support the leadership of the PAP, we have succeeded not only jeopardising the program’s potentials but also the dreams of countless young men and women who look up to us for hope and direction. This is a time for us to stand together, to rise above individual differences, and to work towards a common goal: the development of our land and the prosperity of our people.

Let us remember the sacrifices of our forebears and honour their legacy by being united in our pursuit of progress. Our strength lies in our unity, and our success depends on our willingness to be our brother’s keeper. We must embrace the principles of love, support, and solidarity.

Finally, the time for change is now. Let us reject the "pull him down" syndrome and instead embrace the spirit of brotherhood and unity. High Chief Dennis Otuaro is one of us, and his success is our success. We must support him in every way possible and ensure that the Presidential Amnesty Programme fulfils its mission for the good of the Ijaw nation.

The Ijaw Publishers Forum is committed to amplifying our voices and rendering constructive criticism where necessary in our quest to retell the Ijaw story.

Together, we can build a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come. Let us stand as one and give our support to the Administrator of the PAP.  It is not just a program—it is a promise to our people, a promise of hope, and a promise of a better tomorrow.

Long Live the Ijaw Nation!
Yours in the struggle for progress,

Comrade Austin Ozobo
President

SOUTH-SOUTH OPINION LEADERS KICK AGAINST PLANS TO DISENFRANCHISE MRS. EYESAN ORITSEMYINWA

Opinion leaders and key stakeholders from the South-South region have expressed deep concern over the recent unwarranted and malicious attacks targeting Mrs. Eyesan Oritsemyinwa, the Executive Vice President, Upstream, NNPC Limited. Following a crucial meeting held in Okrika, Rivers State, these leaders firmly condemned the baseless character assassination of a woman recognized as a valuable and respected representative of their region.

The people of the South-South have long championed equity, fairness, and justice within Nigeria, advocating for both regional development and the right to participate in the management of natural resources. Mrs. Oritsemyinwa, a committed professional and a daughter of the Niger Delta, embodies these principles, and the leaders could not remain silent while she becomes a target in the ongoing power struggles within the Oil and Gas sector. They highlighted the nation's pressing need for strong, people-centered leadership that genuinely reflects the aspirations of the masses.

The gathering decried the longstanding issues within Nigeria’s oil sector, calling out the self-serving political games and opaque dealings that have continued to harm the country and deepen economic hardship. They emphasized that Mrs. Oritsemyinwa’s track record and dedication make her a role model, not a pawn in political maneuvers.

Concerns were raised over the potential disregard for the Corporate Policy and Procedure Guide (CPPG), which has governed operational practices in the NNPC, even as it transitions to NNPCL. The leaders affirmed that adherence to this guide is essential to uphold transparency and integrity. The alleged attempts to impose partisan agendas within the NNPC Limited leadership only serve to undermine the Renewed Hope Agenda, which aims to prioritize the welfare of Nigerians.

In addition, the opinion leaders highlighted the unique struggles of riverine communities, where the high cost of living and transportation disproportionately affect daily life. Given the region's significant contributions to the oil sector, they believe that the voices of its people should be amplified, not stifled. The negative propaganda against Mrs. Oritsemyinwa is seen as part of a broader pattern to suppress input from stakeholders in the Niger Delta.

The assembly calls upon President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to remain steadfast in his commitment to justice and fairness, reinforcing confidence in his leadership by ensuring due process within the NNPC Limited. They stress that any actions or changes affecting Mrs. Oritsemyinwa’s position must be based on merit and align with Nigeria’s development goals.

South-South leaders and the youth of the region stand watchful, urging that Mrs. Oritsemyinwa’s elevation and dedication be celebrated as a beacon of hope. The leaders concluded by emphasizing that her contributions exemplify the patriotism and pro-people leadership Nigeria needs during these challenging times.
