Evah leads N'Delta mothers in deliverance prayers for South-South governors, calls for revitalization of textile, glass, plastic company's to create employment

Lagos____ ln his usual ways in speaking truth to power to provide good governance for the common man in the society, the renowned Nigeria human and environmental rights activst who doubles as the National Coordinator for ljaw Monitoring Group, Comrade Joseph Evah has led over two hundred Niger Delta mothers to fervently pray for the deliverance of South-South governors in order to wake up from their slumber for economic growth, security of lives, properties and development of the region.
The historic deliverance service was held on Saturday at the Nigeria Hall of Fame, Jeco College Plot 720, Owode Onirin, Ikorodu, Lagos State attracted over two hundred mothers from the major Niger Delta states across the Southern part of Nigeria.
The event tagged "Niger Delta Governors Spiritual Deliverance Service Day" was hosted by the former Publicity Secretary of lNC, Comrade Joseph Evah who believes that the problem of the Niger Delta governors has grown beyond physical, hence he appealed to the mothers of the region to pray for them seeking God's divine guidance and direction for the governors to provide good leadership, especially senator Douye Diri (Bayelsa State), Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta State),  Monday Okpebholo (Edo State), Umo Eno (Akwa-lbom State), Lucky Aiyedatiwa (Ondo State), Bassey Otu (Cross Rivers State) and Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State respectively.
Comrade Evah used the medium to called on the governors to revitalize the once booming Asaba Textile company established by late former governor Ogbemudia of old Bendel state, Beta glass company ughelli, plastic companies among others in order to provide employment opportunities for our teeming unemployed youths in the Niger Delta.

According to Joseph Evah, said:

" Instead of our Niger Delta governors to revived our region industries, especially Asaba Textile company, Beta Glass company ughelli, fishing and plastic company's to boost our economy and meaningfully engaged our children rather they came to Lagos to buy Ankara wrappers leaving the Niger Delta once booming industries dead, thereby exposing our youths to abject poverty".

" Godbless Niger Delta region with crude oil, fishes and raw materials to harness but our bad leaders mismanaging the wealth of the region. Asaba textile company was built by late former governor of Bendel state Ogbemudia. Our present governors needs to emulate late Ogbemudia footsteps rather they solely depends on the 13% derivation funds from Abuja, thereby abandoning our raw materials untapped."
Speaking further, Evah noted that the Chinese and Lebanese companies have taken over Niger Delta peoples fishing occupation in the Atlantic oceans, thereby render us to be importers of ice fishes instead of exporters.

He said the Niger Delta region is contributing the largest revenue for Nigeria survival yet the South-South governors are confused in their recent signed communique while the South-West, South-East and Northern Governors are demanding for the rights of their people in the Tinubu Tax Reform Bill.
Reacting on the insecurity, Evah lamented that the unchecked increase in bandits and herdsmen attacks on our mothers in their farmland in the Niger Delta will result into a catastrophic situation if drastic action is not taken by our governors to curb the situation. He said All South West governors met and set up a regional security outfit called AMOTEKUN to protect Yoruba people. Why are Niger Delta governors are afraid to rise to the challenge. The governors needs to wake up to save our people from the unbearable suffering.
Evah reiterated that prayer is the only answer because all our cries and appeals to our governors to save the situation in our homeland (Niger Delta) are falling on deaf ears, he asserted.

Meanwhile, in their numbers, the mothers pray God to have mercy on the governors of their shortfalls and forgive them to wake up from their slumber to do the right thing for the people of Niger Delta. They invoke the Holy Spirit of God to fall upon them in order to awaken their consciousness to provide good governance for the people.
Climax of the day was distribution of the holy bible and handkerchiefs to over two thousand participants including women, men and gentlemen of press.

Following the perceived bad governance and poor economic policies in Niger Delta, a special spiritual deliverance prayer service has been proposed by the mothers of the region to deliver the governors of the Niger Delta region from misused of the region's resources.

The event tagged "Niger Delta Governors Spiritual Deliverance Service Day" is scheduled for Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 12:00 pm at the Ijaw Monitoring Group, IMG Office in Lagos.

The service, facilitated by the National Coordinator of the Ijaw Monitoring Group, Comrade Joseph Evah is aimed to seek divine guidance and wisdom for the governors, including Senator Duoye Diri (Bayelsa State), RT Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta State), Umo Eno (Akwa-Ibom State), Lucky Aiyedatiwa (Ondo State), Bassey Otu (Cross River State), and Siminalayi Fubara (Rivers State).

It was gathered that Over 2,000 Bibles will be distributed during the service, which will feature prayers seeking economic wisdom and patriotic spirit for the governors. The event's organizers are inspired by the legacy of the region's founding governors, such as HRM Alfred Diete Spiff, Chief Udokobo Jacob Esuene, and Chief Samuel Osaigbovo Ogbemudia, who drove development and industrialization in the region.
However, the Niger Delta region is currently facing numerous challenges, including economic hardship, insecurity, and environmental degradation. The event's organizers hope that the spiritual deliverance service will inspire the governors to take bold steps to address these challenges and restore the region's lost glory.

As stated in the event's advertorial, "A Mother's prayer is the solution to her children's predicament." The organizers believe that the prayers of the mothers will bring about a positive transformation in the region's leadership and ultimately lead to the development and prosperity of the Niger Delta region.

Featured Article: Ijaw Political Dynasties, a Legacy of Misguided Leadership and Missed Opportunities_By Augustine Edumogiren

It is:
* Intriguing;
* Explosive;
* Educative;
* Intended to correct the wrongs;
* A must read.

In contrast to genuine democratic practices, where leaders are elected based on their competence, integrity, political affiliation, and commitment to a people-centered agenda, we find a troubling trend in the political landscape of Nigeria - where power is often awarded to individuals solely by virtue of their lineage.

Over time, this monarchical approach has seeped into Nigerian politics, manifesting as a refusal by elected officials to relinquish their positions, thus creating an entrenched "sit-tight" mentality. This phenomenon is especially pronounced among Ijaw politicians in Delta State.

Frequently, these office holders deceive the easily swayed populace by claiming that their positions offer little value while simultaneously clinging to power and utilizing public resources - allegedly diverted into their personal coffers - to sustain their dominance. They have effectively become political monarchs!

This disheartening reality is particularly evident in the Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency since the dawn of the Fourth Republic in 1999. We remain cautiously optimistic that this dynastic political representation does not extend to Burutu Local Government Area, for we are determined not to accept it. When a leader clings to a position for an extended period, it stifles the aspirations of the youth. Each Ijaw Leader should pave the way for others to ascend to leadership roles, allowing for robust human capital development in Ijaw Communities. Unfortunately, this is not the case in the Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency, where one individual has effectively obstructed the progress of many who continue to endure hardship in Ijaw Communities.
In a previous article, "My Social Contract with Ijaw: The Resurgence of Ijaw Spirit - A Call for Change," I posited that a leader is divinely entrusted with the responsibility to uplift and serve justice to their people - not to dominate, fracture relationships, or inflict suffering upon them. Regrettably, the actions of the Delta Ijaw Leaders in power stand in stark contrast to this ideal. These leaders have succeeded in impoverishing individuals, families, and communities, even while refusing to yield their positions to others. This self-serving behavior ultimately undermines the interests of the Delta Ijaw Nation, as an extended tenure in a single role can lead to a lack of innovative ideas - a phenomenon economists refer to as "diminishing returns."

Consider the exemplary decision made by our esteemed and disciplined leader, Tam Brisibe, who chose not to pursue a third term in the House of Representatives despite ample opportunities for re-election. Tam embodies compassion for his fellow Ijaw Brothers, a stark contrast to the likes of Nicholas Mutu and James Manager, who have often seemed disconnected from the true needs of their constituents.

The narrative of "Ijaw Political Dynasties: A Legacy of Misguided Leadership and Missed Opportunities" is echoed in Ebi Idolo's upcoming book titled "The Seventh Tenure and 28 Years (1999 to 2027) of Waste Without Physical Impact." The publication chronicles the experiences of Delta Ijaw Ancestors that were, and still in the National Assembly, highlighting the dismal performance of Manager and Mutu. Manager, who was earlier Commissioner for Works and Transport from 1999 - 2003 in Delta State, and later occupied a Senate seat for five terms - two decades (2003 - 2023) - sought higher office only to lose to the incumbent Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, in the 2023 gubernatorial primaries. Meanwhile, Mutu is enduring his seventh term, 1999 - 2027, in the House of Representatives, a staggering twenty-eight years in total.
It is both tragic and inconceivable that amidst their extensive tenures, the duo, who chaired the Senate and House Committees on the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), failed to construct a single road leading to their ancestral villages of Ogbein-ama and Akugbene. The NDDC did award a contract for the Gbaregolor/Esama Bridge, the only access point to their hometowns; however, poor construction has rendered this bridge unusable, with its approach eroded into the middle of the river from the Esanma axis, posing dangers to local marine transport and livelihoods. Visual evidence of this plight has been shared.

Moreover, the ancient roadways in their communities, bordering the Forcados River, have crumbled, and signs of governmental presence are virtually non-existent. This report merely scratches the surface of the projects attributed to them during their tenure - detailed insights can be found in Hon. Ebi Idolo's compelling book, where the sheer volume of discrepancies is bound to astonish.

Speculations abound regarding Mutu's alleged misuse of his position as Chair of the House Committee on NDDC to secure contracts for projects such as the Akugbene Shore protection work, which reportedly went to his elder brother, with no resulting progress while payments were disbursed. The forthcoming book will illuminate these narratives in detail.

Yet, these political stalwarts continue to boast grand titles like "Egbage," "kene buo yain kpo, ma buo tie-emi," and "Opu-Akpamaku." The appositional "Egbage" refers to a traditional iron tripod used in cooking, which Manager has adopted to convey strength in his leadership, claiming resilience even when one leg falters. This flawed analogy suggests that failure within a support system does not result in instability - a notion that has proven false as he experienced a breakdown during the recent gubernatorial primaries.
In contrast, the appellation associated with Mutu implies a big glossy coated metal plate; he has "contained his constituents" for 28 years, even as they continue to languish in weakness and deprivation.

Despite the grandiose titles these political figures attribute to themselves, their journeys back to their roots often involve precarious speedboat rides, drenched by the elements - an unfortunate irony that reveals the disparity between their claims and reality. During their extensive tenures, they had numerous opportunities to pave the way for infrastructure improvements but chose instead to enrich their own interests.

It is acknowledged that Manager and Mutu have provided limited assistance to select allies and family members, however, true representation extends far beyond providing for one's kin. Their families amass wealth while their constituents remain in dire poverty. Hon. Ebi Idolo meticulously documents these inequities, shedding light on the discrepancies between what has been promised and what has been delivered.

It is disheartening to witness how the greed, nepotism, and inefficiency of these longstanding politicians stand in stark contrast to other members of the National Assembly, such as Ned Nwoko and Francis Ejiroghene Waive, who have diligently worked to bring tangible progress to their constituents.

Unlike the aforementioned leaders, who have served as beacons of hope, attracting development to their communities, Manager and Mutu’s legacies are marked by ethical compromises and self-serving motives that have fostered a culture of "sustainable underdevelopment" in Delta Ijaw Land, as aptly noted by Ebi Franklin Waboke. They are indeed monumental failures and tragedies for the Ijaw Nation.

As the saying goes, "The tree that bends to the wind does not break." In light of the systemic challenges faced by the Ijaw Nation, we must unite to demand accountability and progress for our people.

While backlash from the defenders of these political figures is likely, it is imperative to stress the importance of true representation. If they had grasped the essence of what it means to serve their constituents, perhaps their legacies would be significantly different.

The potential for Ijaw development exists, but it necessitates action and the cessation of ineffectual leadership.

Featured Article: Governor Oborevwori's Alliance With Bees And Wasps_By: Ekanpou Enewaridideke

Featured Article: Governor Oborevwori's Alliance With Bees And Wasps_By: Ekanpou Enewaridideke

Sometimes time flies beyond definitive appropriation and dismantles historical authenticity and compels one to journey on the prefatory path of folktales told in Akparemogbene at moonlight. Once upon a time I have been assailed and tempted.Terminologically. Neologically. 'Transliteratively'. Defensively.
Like a civet cat drunk and asleep on the raffia palm tree ensnared by sweet-coated palm wine, lazily letting out a drunken drawl 'o tomi yo-o-o-o"! I must say 'okaratically' that the inside of His Excellency Rt. Hon. F.O. Sheriff Oborevwori is filled to the brim with anger -  an anger that re-echoes the experience of  Okonkwo of Chinua Achebe in Things Fall Apart justifiably provoked by one of  his wives who went to plait her hair and violated the timed protocol of afternoon meal preparation and presentation.The inside of Governor  Oborevwori spoilt, he has created functional alliance with bees and wasps.The bees and the wasps operating from different enclosures in the forest have become the handmaiden in the execution of the governor's beloved thoughts and vision for Deltans.

The inside of a governor designated spoilt is the equivalent of an earthquake . There is therefore no absurdity or hyperbole in the philosophical musing of King Fezena Pius Alabeni that the underworld quakes when a man weeps upon the departure of a loved one,; similarly, the world of the living quakes educationally and infrastructurally in an unprecedented manner when the inside of a governor  of Oborevwori's stature is spoilt 'wolei wolei'.

There are clear indicators that history and Governor  Oborevwori are one because they are materials that mutually penetrate and labour for each other. Oborevwori has made history as the governor of Delta State after graduation from an unbroken legislative engagement.History has boldly  made history out of Oborevwori by making him the only governor most litigated against in the history of Nigeria who sat on the gubernatorial seat after resounding legal victory over thirty-eight cases drawn from pre-election and post-election matters right into the Supreme Court. He was most misrepresented by detractors who are masters of language of denigration and reduction driven by an unhealthy propensity to score a political point of electoral victory.

To no one it is hidden that at different designated centres and fora of calculated indoctrination and image-destruction, Oborevwori was dramatically positioned and  forced to wear the clothes of an 'Agbero', liar and certificate- manipulator purely for the entertainment of the propaganda-consuming public. The healthy fruit of this sustained war of denigration is that he journeyed into the Government House with a spoilt inside and quickly created outlets for this vindictively mutilated and wounded mind. So with open arms Governor Oborevwori  incorporated bees and wasps as integral components of his MORE agenda built from a spoilt inside.These bees and wasps  must not be denied a space of discretionary  surveillance journey around the territories of reputation-iconoclasts as the base to ward off targeted misinformation, distraction, stench and stasis in governance. May you the detractors and hunters of Oborevwori:s image 'be macheted a thousand times and be left by the wayside', as Jp  Clark may be tempted to say in his THE OZIDI SAGA.

Everybody is fully awake to the fact that adhering to the daily medication of vindictive indoctrination often given based on image-battering prescription, for the manic and vindictive masters of denigration Governor Oborevwori is a motor park tout who cannot identify education when seen.To disprove  and dismiss the propagandist obfuscation and  obsession of his detractors, he canoed his governance boat with a clear vision for education verified by  bursary awards and scholarship offers to students . Over six hundred children of deceased civil servants and physically challenged children have been given scholarships for educational advancement by  Governor Oborevwori right from 2023 till date. Eight hundred and thirteen million naira has been approved for payment of bursary awards to Deltans in institutions of higher learning in different parts of Nigeria for the 2024 academic session and the payment of this 2024 bursary awards is already in progress while  the payment of the 2025 bursary awards will be operationalised after the 2024 session is cleared. No governor in Nigeria has demonstrated the audacity, zeal , consistency and pragmatic commitment Governor Oborevwori has shown and extended to education as regards bursary awards and scholarship. From 2023 till now Oborevwori has not faltered educationally in his marked visionary steps.

To all Deltans, Oborevwori is a canal for the flow of bold statements on developmental matters. Governor Oborevwori has also made a bold statement on infrastructural development with Julius Berger in Warri and Setraco in Ayakoromo in Burutu Local Government Area. The Ayakoromo bridge project has been re-awarded to Setraco. As ambitiously and audaciously flagged off on 27 November 2023 by the governor of Delta State,  three flyovers, cloverleaf, pedestrian bridges and road expansion projects in Effurun and Warri awarded at 78 billion naira to Julius Berger have become the communicative diet and spectacle of Deltans who are impressed with the rapid construction work in progress.

Oborevwori is a master of juxtaposition and merger in a simultaneous developmental dance for Deltans. Education and infrastructural development have been juxtaposed and merged by Oborevwori. Before the visionary juxtaposition and merger of education and infrastructural development in his policy direction as they are simultaneously operationalised, there was a policy-based herald of specific engagement to disable all forces of underdevelopment and educational advancement in Delta State. He systematically cut off any  form of alliance with educational backwardness and physical underdevelopment of Delta State . The negative developmental forces ran away disorderly with the mere sight of the advancing ferocious bees and wasps whose powers lie in depositing destabilising stings that kill the proliferation of deadly thoughts and actions.This was how the governor gained stability and gathered momentum away from the distractions of the unbelievers and wishful thinkers who fasted and prayed day and night for the non-performance of the governor of Delta State. Besides governor Oborevwori's educational vision and infrastructural development attested to by the pragmatic presence of Julius Berger and Setraco in Warri and Ayakoromo, are the bees and wasps of the governor because they are strategically positioned against the unrepentant detractors currently besotted with the propaganda that  Governor Oborevwori is poised to decamp to APC  - an unbelievable deadly propaganda borne out of a dislocated malfunctioning  propaganda machinery mounted vindictively against the governor of Delta State.

Mortals are always known to beat a retreat at a terrifying speed when confronted with bees and wasps. Because the bees and the wasps have shown amazing capacity to weaken, dismantle and mangle  the propaganda power and machinery of the unrepentant opposition conglomerate and detractors, it is the prayerful thoughts of Akparemogbene and  Oyangbene communities in Burutu Local Government  Area that the bees and the wasps be also deployed against political traitors of any colour who are still conscience-dead incubators of evil plans waiting to be unveiled in 2027.

The powers of bees and wasps are known to all foresters because they will never lose a war waged against daring foresters in the forest. Bees and wasps are awe-inspiring creatures that could execute emergency tasks on  special summons. Domiciled in their conceptualised differently built enclosures in the forest, bees and wasps could be deployed  by man to reduce turbulence and become the road map for development if they are rightly engaged conceptually. Whether or not bees and  wasps would produce  a desired result depends chiefly on the conceptualization built around them when deployed. However, they are always wonder performers as conceptualizations are usually built around their destabilising stings .

In every occurrence there is a marked seasonality. Beyond thoughts of bees and wasps as weapons of neutralisation and potent antidote to restless detractors, amazingly, as a catchy interjection, this must be the season His Excellency Rt. Hon F.O. Sheriff Oborevwori has chosen to metaphorise bees and wasps as enablers and catalysts of good governance in Delta State .

The world knows that the image-killer propaganda machinery of the detractors is sophisticated and daily reinforced with fictitious materials. However the sophistication of the image-killer propaganda machinery mounted against Governor Oborevwori, current feelers  indicate that the governor's bees and wasps deposit neutralizing stings with mathematical and digital accuracy.  If this boldness, accuracy and finesse could be extended to the destabilizing zone of political 'muwenmuwenism' and political betrayal after   assertively parading  themselves in the  public domain that they are honourable politicians of commitment and integrity whereas everything about them is rotten and putrid to the base of their navels, the identified political traitors would embrace attitudinal change reinforced by admission of their traitorous deflections during the electioneering period.

 The company of bees and wasps is a great one. Bees and wasps could as well be good for political betrayers who will never be bold enough to swear in the sacred Egbesu temple at Oporoza that they did not bite the PDP in the last elections. For every man there is a corresponding diet. The language of bees and wasps is the language that suits political traitors and detractors as long as the bees have become the performance enablements of Governor Oborevwori.Or must political traitors and detractors be treated accordingly as prescribed by Ngugi wa Thiong'o in his novel DEVIL ON THE CROSS which centres on confrontation and crushing them beyond resurrection possibilities -  a revolutionary approach that is antithetical to Governor Oborevwori's intellectually powered educational and infrastructural strategy buried in the metaphors of bees and wasps?

 It is therefore healthy and safe to say  thus : may longevity and sustainability walk upon the developmental alliance between Governor Oborevwori, the bees and the wasps now applauded for ideological commitment to their assigned engagement in the governance of Delta State. For good governance in Delta State Governor Oborevwori cannot dispense with the dedicated services of bees and wasps now metaphorically appropriated for developmental navigation and clarity in governance. Bravo to Governor Oborevwori for the functionally potent metaphorisation of bees and wasps as the solid platform to enthrone good governance in Delta State!

IPDI rubbishes baseless petition by faceless NDLEF, says Otuaro's PAP reforms remain unwavering

Press statement
9th February, 2025

IPDI rubbishes baseless petition by faceless NDLEF, says Otuaro's PAP reforms remain unwavering

Our attention has been drawn to some misleading information and outright lies spread by one faceless Odey Otunu and his co-travellers  pretending to be members of a non-existing Niger Delta Liberators and Ex,-Agitators Forum (NDLEF) against the administrator of the presidential amnesty programme, Dr Dennis Brutu Otuaro in Punch and Vanguard newspapers on Saturday. These fifth columnists, who seem to be suffering from severe ignorance and dementia, are peddling falsehoods in a bid to damage the hard-earned reputation of the PAP administrator.

To set the record straight, Otuaro's appointments were based on merit and not to suit any particular interest. The latest empty petitions and propaganda were attempts to distract Otuaro from his mission to reform and reposition the PAP, and that every well meaning leader, youth and stakeholder of the Niger Delta must stand against the detractors who are pursuing personal interests.
The non-existing NDLEF and its co-travellers misfired. The PAP administrator Dr Otuaro has done nothing wrong to be investigated by EFCC. No money is missing in the PAP office. The faceless NDLEF petition written to the EFCC is baseless, barbaric, concocted and contains nothing but lies. The EFCC can't entertain empty petitions that are based on nothing, rather than hearsay and propaganda.
It is very shameful that the troublemakers, who appear to be deceitful and manipulative, like Jacob, but also ruthless and aggressive, like Esau are manipulating and formulating misleading information against the PAP office for no fact.

It is worthy of note that there is no group such as self-styled Niger Delta Liberators and Ex Agitators Forum (NDLEF). It is the figment of the imagination of the insane Jude Gbaboyor and his cohorts. We have consulted a CAC consultant to verify the group registration status, but we were told that there is no existing group like the above name. This is a clear proof that the group is a fake and non -juristic entity. So it lacks power to sue and be sued. It doesn't have the legal ground to petition anyone because it is an illegal group. What Gbaboyor is doing could be described as an unlawful gathering, which is a treasonable felony which is punishable in the law.

It may interest you to know that the public is being awash with a series of propaganda against the highly respected Administrator of the presidential Amnesty Programme and High Chief Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo by one mentally deranged Jude Gbaboyor who is fighting to be retained after being sacked by the previous PAP administration led by General Ndiomu, and that there is nothing new about the latest petition and propaganda peddled by the said miscreants.

Meanwhile, the petition is of the same subject matter with the previous petitions by jobless vagabond Jude Gbaboyor whose stock in trade is to intimidate and threaten government officials to get undue favour. The issues raised were unsubstantiated and discovered to be false and a tale of the moon, hence the petitions were considered dead at arrival.

We wish to educate the so-called untrained and unschooled cowards of faceless NDLEF parading under the whims and the caprices of Jude Gbaboyor that there is no money missing in the PAP office. There is visually nothing that the PAP office does that the presidency is not aware of. There is nothing to be investigated in the PAP office because nothing is missing.

The public is aware that the current administrator Dr Otuaro is prudent in handling money in the PAP office. All well meaning Niger Delta leaders and stakeholders are satisfied with the Dr Dennis Brutu Otuaro policies and reforms in the PAP office, so no concocted story from the pit of the hell can outshine the truth.

We however, advise the mischief makers to desist and join other well meaning leaders and stakeholders to give massive support to the administrator of the presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP, Dr Dennis Brutu Otuaro to use the PAP office to implement his transformative reforms.

Smooth pens down powerful message to distractors of NDDC MD, Dr. Ogbuku, calls for calm to allow him do his good works for N' Delta

"Dr Samuel Ogbuku
An Example of a true Izon Man"

As a man who has been fighting for the Izon cause and development, I cannot support the down fall of any Izon man. This is my stand, any time, any day, that we cannot be divided and display such characters of pull him down of your own brother in power. No matter our grievances or opinion, or disagreement, for the sake of our common bloodline, we should learn to tread with caution for the overall interest of the Izon Nation. I don't think anyone could be foolish enough to burn a whole forest where you equally built your home just because you are angry or not benefited from the system.

My stand for the protection of the Izon man, was clear in the days of Alamieyeseigha, that we should not destroy our own for selfish reasons, thus was the reason of the song HUMMER JEEP. Betrayal is our name. Judas seems to have his bloodline from here, and that has been the reason of our underdevelopment, destroying our land and common cause.  The Izon man does not know how to protect his own, he never understand the philosophy that a house divided against itself is the reason why the enemy is having an edge over us, over the years.
In response to Dr Samuel Ogbuku, the Managing Director of NDDC, my score card is simple, he has done better than all his predecessors who came before him. He is the reason why the whole of the Niger Delta has been turned every village a city. This is the first time our old mothers and fathers in the village could feel the presence of light in their door steps, something that was meant for only the rich in those communities. This is something that even State governments could not do.

Beyond that, there are infrastructures, with plain evidence all over the Niger Delta. I don't think we should fight him instead of appreciating his developmental strides.

In as much as we all saw the drama of our own brother who was appointed as M. D. in the same office who did nothing and fainted in the senate, I hope nobody had any reason to cry. But here is a good man who has empowered many, including the youths and equally our musicians to be self sufficient, then we say, he is not doing enough. What else do we want?
The Izon Nation must learn from history, we can't fight ourselves for the sake of selfish interest. To bad we are trying to paint a good man black, and that's not healthy for our common tribe.

Maybe let me support our memories with some historical fact, why this war against Dr Samuel Ogbuku is a display of immaturity. Some years ago, the two Nationalists Nnamdi Azikiwe and Awolowo had their elections for the office of a premier in the West where the party NCNC was the leading factor. The election started with Nnamdi Azikiwe leading, but Awolowo who understands the bond for his tribe spoke to his brothers, in his native language Yoruba, "tiwa ni, tiwa ni," meaning "what is ours, is ours!"

Immediately the people dropped their selfish interest, and supported Awo to win.

Again, I say leave Dr Samuel Ogbuku alone so that he can continue his good works.
As the unifying factor of all musicians in the Niger Delta, we call for calm and lend our support to our son, brother, father, and leader to finish strong in his full tenures.

I remain Chief Barrister S. Smooth, the voice of all musicians in the Niger Delta.
