Clark Gives Thank to God on Commissioner Appointment, Appreciates Gov. Oborevwori for the Privilege to Serve Deltans

Warri ____ Top Delta State Government functionaries, distinguished honourable members, business partners, family, traditional rulers/chiefs, friends and well wishers on Sunday 25th August, 2024, joined the newly sworn-in honourable Commissioner Directorate for Riverine lnfrastructural Development, Hon. Chief. Anthony Ebikeme Clark in order to give thanks to God for His goodness and mercy's upon his life over his recent appointment/sworn-in by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, the Executive Governor of Delta State.
The thanksgiving service which took place at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Airport Road, Ugborikoko, Uvwie Local Government Area of the State started at about 10:30AM attracted many dignitaries from far and near across the country to celebrate with the Clark's family.

It will interest you to note that, Chief Ebikeme Clark is the son of the foremost Ijaw National leader, High Chief. Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark. He was former Executive Chairman Burutu LGA, Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Development among others.
Delivering his Simon, the presiding priest, Rev. father Orodje charged Christians to love God with all their heart and always give thanks to God, saying thanksgiving is an application to attract more blessings from God. 

He urged Christians to put their trust in God, saying God is the ultimate who give life, power and opportunity, he asserted.

However, Clark specially extends his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for finding him worthy to serve under his cabinet.
He further appreciated the members of his immediate family, political colleagues, friends and well wishers for their steadfastness and prayers to ensure his appointment. He pray God to reward them abundantly in their life endeavors, the statement added.

Meanwhile, the honorable commissioner, Chief. Ebikeme Clark had promised to join hand with Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori led state government to attract the MORE AGENDA to the riverine communities across the state.

However, immediately after the church thanksgiving service, Chief. Ebikeme Clark hosted all the invited guests and dignitaries in a well packaged grand reception at his country home Kiagbodo, headquarters of Ngbilebiri-Mein kingdom in Burutu LGA, Delta State.
In his speech, the chairman of the reception occasion, Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, the Senior Policy Adviser to the Governor thanked His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for appointing second commissioner for Burutu LGA. He appealed to His Excellency to please provide the enabling working environment for the newly established Directorate to function well inline with the mandate of the ministry.
