Amaseikumo masquerade, the promise keeper, a festival of children, wealth and riches has done it again as two believers, Mrs. Peres Lawrence from Egwa 1 community and Mrs. Favour Moni from Opuba community in Arogbo-lbe ljaw who earlier prayed for fruit of the womb during last year 2024 pilgrimage at Gbaraun Egbesu temple has received their blessings from mother lbolomo-ere with the delivery of two bouncing baby boys.
The manifestation of their prayers answered occured on Wednesday April 23rd, the day five of the famous annual festival of Gbaraun Egbesu, lbolomo-ere and Amaseikumo festival in Gbaramatu kingdom, Warri South-West LGA of Delta State, during intensive 6rs prayer and worship session at Gbaraun Egbesu Deity temple.
The first nursing mother, Mrs. Peres Lawrence welcomed her baby boy at about 2:39AM early Wednesday morning (night), while the second nursing mother, Mrs. Favour Moni welcomed her baby boy at about 12:PM noon on 23rd April, 2025.
The joy of save delivery knows no bound on the faces of the mothers and the 2025 Amaseikumo festival medical services team ably led by Dr. Clarkson Agagha who give kudos to the sponsors of the program as part of rendering humanitarian services to the needy in the society.
The great Amaseikumo festival of Gbaramatu kingdom is a feast of reawakening the ljaw cultural heritage and tradition handed down by the forefathers for the purpose of protection, good living, sharing love among others.
However, on Thursday 24th April, 2025, the sixth day of Amaseikumo festival will featured wrestling competition, football, Draft and night show as usual.
