Warri ______ On Friday, August 9, 2024, prominent figures from various sectors gathered in Warri to attend the canopy dropping ceremony of the former Chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Area, Chief David Pere, who passed away on August 7, 2024, at Sage Clinic in Warri.
The ceremony was graced by notable dignitaries, including Chief Tunde Smooth, Chief Frank Omare, Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi, the member representing Burutu Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, and Hon. Alalpa Ebitonmo, Member of the Delta State House of Assembly.
