Just-ln: Niger Delta Peace Advocate, Chief Bene Mamamu Bags NUJ Peace Ambassador Award 

Warri ______ The National Union of Journalists, (NUJ) Delta Broadcasting Service (DBS) Warri Chapel, Delta State, on Wednesday 14th August, 2024, honoured the National President of Niger Delta Youth Council (NDYC), Amb. Comrade. Mamamu Youkore Bene with the prestigious Peace Ambassador Award.
Speaking during presentation of the award in warri, the Chairman NUJ DBS Warri Chapel, Comrade John Glover said the award was based on Amb. Bene Mamamu's unwavering contributions of impacting peace in Warri and its environ in particular, and Niger Delta region as a whole over the years.
He emphasized that Amb. Bene as an advocate of peaceful coexistence amongst the diverse ethnic groups in Warri and its environs deserves the prestigious award bestowed on him today.

The NUJ however, charged the recipient to keep doing his good works in the society, adding that DBS Warri would continue to partner with him in providing adequate coverage of his programmes and activities.
In a swift reaction, the elated Ambassador Bene Mamamu give thanks to God for the unexpected recognition bestowed on him by the noble NUJ DBS Warri Chapel. He expressed joy over the award and promised to keep preaching peace and unity among the various ethnic groups in Delta State and beyond, he stated.
Meanwhile, it will interest you to note that Amb. Chief. Mamamu Youkore Bene is the National President of Niger Delta Youth Council (NDYC). He is also the Founder/National President of the Independent Grassroot Liberators (IGL), a proactive political pressure group in Delta State. At the same time, he is the National President Owners of Oil Producing Communities (CODAFA) Western Zone.
